Torres del Paine National Park is a national park in the southern Patagonian Ice Field, part of the Chilean portion of Patagonia. It is known for its natural beauty and abundance of wildlife, including many penguins, sea lions, and other marine animals, as well as over 1,500 bird species. It was designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1978.
