We invite you to join us on this complete trekking tour in Patagonia. We will introduce you, through our knowledgeable guides, to the main highlights of Southern Patagonia. We'll combine traditional accommodation with camps in strategic points, in order to get the best views and make the best out of your experience. We'll do the Fitz Roy trek and the trail to lake Torre in El Chaltén. We'll do the W trek in Torres del Paine. We'll visit the Glacier Perito Moreno. We'll go overland all the way from Puerto Natales to Ushuaia. We'll visit the end of the world, and walk among penguins in Tierra del Fuego!

Day 1 : Arrival In El Calafate
Location: El Calafate

Arrival at the airport in El Calafate, reception, and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, welcoming dinner and encounter with our representatives to talk about the upcoming days.
Day 2 : El Calafate - El Chalten
Location: El Chaltén
Accommodation: Camp

After breakfast, we'll go on a transfer to El Chalten. El Chaltén is the capital for trekking in Argentina, and is located 220 km away from El Calafate.
The main highlights here are the Fitz Roy Mount and the Cerro Torre.
Upon arrival, we'll start our trek, bringing only our necessary items for 2 nights - we'll stay those first two nights in campsites.
Today we'll do a gentle hike to Camp Poincenot.

Full Camps are pitched up early in the season, so we find the camp ready upon arrival. It offers comfortable igloo type tents for 1 or 2 passengers, with insulation mat and sleeping bags. The camp also features a spacious dining tent, a kitchen tent, tables, benches or chairs and a full set of table service and kitchenware. The sanitary services are latrine-type (rural area).
Day 3 : El Chaltén
Location: Laguna de los Tres
Accommodation: Camp

Before breakfast, we'll try to see the Fitz Roy walls with the first lights of the day.
If the sky is not cloudy, the sun reflects on the granite walls providing an impressive orange colour.
Then we'll hike up to Laguna de los 3, which is one of the most iconic lagoons in Patagonia. To reach it we need to walk through a steep slope for about 1 hour (plus other sections).
Once in the lagoon, we'll have a spectacular view of the Fitz Roy, with its 3405 mts above sea level, surrounded by different glacires.
We hike back to our camp in the late afternoon. Walking time is 5 to 6 hs.
Day 4 : El Chaltén

After breakfast, we'll walk to the area of Torre lagoon. To reach it, we'll hike through the "lagoons Madre e Hija" trail, a pleasant way through forests and bogs.
Once in Laguna Torre, if the weather permits, we'll be able to see the magnificent Cerro Torre (3128 mts) and its surrounding peaks.
There is also a glacier at the opposite side of the lagoon, and many times there are erratic ice chunks floating around.
Return to El Chaltén, and accommodation at the village.
Day 5 : El Chaltén
Location: Loma Del Pliegue Tumbado

Today, we'll follow a trail that leads to a very special panoramic point. This viewpoint allows (if weather permits) to see the Torre and Fitz Roy mounts from another perspective.
It's also an area from where -sometimes- is possible to see part of the continental ice field.
Return to El Chaltén and overnight in the village.

Day 6 : El Chaltén - El Calafate
Location: El Calafate

Free time for optional activities in El Chaltén.
In the late afternoon, transfer back to El Calafate.
Day 7 : El Calafate
Location: El Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier
Accommodation: Hotel

We'll dedicate this day to visit one of the most beautiful glaciers in the world: the Glacier Perito Moreno.
We'll walk on its balconies, and will be able to do some optional activities such as walk on top of the ice (to be arranged in advance).
Day 8 : El Calafate - Torres Del Paine
Location: Torres del Paine

Early in the morning we depart to Torres del Paine, in Chile. It takes around 5 hours, and while we reach we'll get the first views of the Paine Grande, the Horns, Admiral Nieto and the Towers.
Once at the park, we'll do a short trek to get familiar with the landscape and rich wildlife (guanacos, rheas, condors, and many other species).
Lodging: Full Camp
Full Camps are pitched up early in the season, so we find the camp ready upon arrival. It offers comfortable igloo type tents for 1 or 2 passengers, with insulation mat and sleeping bags. The camp also features a spacious dining tent, a kitchen tent, tables, benches or chairs and a full set of table service and kitchenware (area with sanitary services).
Day 9 : Torres Del Paine - Base Of The Towers
Location: Torres del Paine

Today we'll hike along the first valley of the "W" trek. In total there are three valleys, which seen on a map look like a W.
Walking time: 7 to 8 hs.
Day 10 : Torres Del Paine - French Valley
Location: Torres del Paine
Accommodation: Camp
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We'll make a detour by land in a vehicle towards Port Pudeto (1 hour away from our campsite). There we'll board the catamaran that crosses the Lake Pehoe.
Once on the other side, we'll do the second trail of the W trek: the French Valley. This leads us to different viewpoints, among them, some great views on the Horns.
We finish our hike in Paine Grande Camp, where we stay for the night (also in full camp).
Walking time: 5 to 6 hs.
Day 11 : Torres Del Paine - Grey Valley - Puerto Natales
Location: Torres del Paine

Today we'll follow the last trail of the W trek, along the Grey valley. We'll pass by great viewpoints, with views on the lake and the glacier Grey.
We return to the starting point (Paine Grande), we cross back to Pudeto in the catamaran, and afterward we go to Puerto Natales in a transfer.
Overnight in Puerto Natales.
Day 12 : Puerto Natales

Day at leisure in Puerto Natales, to do optional activities. For instance, the navigation that leads to the glaciers Balmaceda and Serrano is a great alternative.
Day 13 : Puerto Natales - Ushuaia

Today we'll ride a bus to Tierra del Fuego. It will be a long day (about 15 hours ride) and the final destination will be Ushuaia.
We can adapt this tour to your convenience, by doing a stop over in Punta Arenas or returning to El Calafate (to fly from there to Ushuaia). This has to be done in advance.
Arrival in Ushuaia and overnight.
Day 14 : Beagle Channel And Penguins
Location: Ushuaia, Beagle Channel

Today we'll navigate on the Beagle Channel, passing by the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, and the island Lobos & Pajaros. We'll continue to the east until reaching Estancia Harberton. There we'll pay a short visit, and then we'll cross in a zodiac to Martillo Island, where a penguin rookery will be waiting for us.
At the penguin colony we will walk among them and get astonished by their sympathetic behaviour.
Return to Ushuaia.
Day 15 : Ushuaia

Day at leisure to enjoy optional activities in Tierra del Fuego.
For instance, we can organize an excursion to the National Park Tierra del Fuego, or another highlight in the area.
