Location: San Carlos de Bariloche
Accommodation: Hotel, Standard - 3*
Accommodation Name: Carlos V or similar
Meals Included: Breakfast
A unique walk through our city, forests, lakes and mountains, bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi along Avenida Bustillo. The beauty of the landscape is present throughout the route. Various points along the way and some natural viewpoints, such as BahÃa López and Punto Panorámico, are ideal for contemplating this marvel.
After Playa Bonita you arrive at the foot of Cerro Campanario. There we will be able to ascend to the summit: 1050 mts. A cross commemorates the first mass celebrated by Monsignor De Andrea on February 2, 1930. The beautiful confectionery at the top allows one to appreciate one of the most beautiful and fascinating views of the region: the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, the El Clover, San Pedro Peninsula and Llao Llao, Victoria Island, the Otto, López, Goye hills, Cathedral, Chapel and the wonderful mountainous environment of the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.
In winter, the chairlift remains enabled until 6:00 p.m. Approximately and in summer until 7:30 p.m. due to the light. The chairlift manufactured by the Doppelmayer company has state-of-the-art technology, greater safety, variable speed, making the ascent in 7 minutes at a speed of 1.30 meters per second. It consists of 8 towers, 46 chairs (with a capacity of up to 60), is 640 meters long and has a capacity for 450 people/hour. The height of the upper station is 1050 meters and the lower station is 770 meters. At the top of the hill, it has a panoramic cafeteria with capacity for 80 people with 2 terraces and a height of 20 meters.
The Cerro Campanario chairlift, located in the "center of the landscape", elevates it "to the right height of astonishment" to enjoy the most beautiful view of the area. In addition to the landscape, there is a wide range of products from regional artisan production: fabrics, wood, candles, ceramics, cosmetic products, among others, are unavoidable part of this walk, which you should not miss.
Day 3 : Victoria Island And Arrayanes Wood
Location: San Carlos de Bariloche
Accommodation: Hotel, Standard - 3*
Accommodation Name: Carlos V or similar
Meals Included: Breakfast
In the afternoon you will visit Victoria Island. Starting from Puerto Pañuelo, on the imposing peninsula of Llao Llao and after an hour of navigation, you arrive at the Quetrihue peninsula, located in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi, where the legendary Myrtle Forest is located. The myrtle ("quetrihue" in Mapuche language) is a shrub of exquisite saffron color and white flowers. In this place, unique in the world, it takes an arboreal wingspan to form a magical and unusual forest. After touring this incomparable scenery, sail to Puerto Anchorena, on Victoria Island, where you will find a prolific flora in species of great visual appeal.
Walking the paths of this beautiful and millenary island you reach Playa del Toro, where you can see the cave paintings made by the native peoples who inhabited this area, within the framework of a splendid beach of volcanic sand. It's an unforgettable experience!
Throughout this excursion we have the company and experience of the guides of the national park, who provide accurate and necessary information to make this tour even more enriching.
