We could not have had a more amazing driver/guide than Bima. Bima is an encyclopedia of Indonesia, we learnt so much from him. We bonded really well and Bima was more like a friend/brother to us during our trip. The car was comfortable. Ended up just being my husband and myself on the trip. We started really early, but we were one of the first ones at everything, so recommend to sacrifice your sleep! Great local guides. Tumpak Sewu and Bromo - surreal! Difficult to find vegetarian food (expectedly) at Bromo esp - pack food incase. To help plan: Tumpak Sewu- Need wet shoes and clothes you can get wet in. Bromo - Can feel the altitude here and is cold. Ijen - Don't recommend descending to see the blue flames. Very strong sulphur and descent is gruelling - should be banned (its not allowed in Iceland). We didn't descend as the gas hurt my eyes. Stay at top and see sunrise and view from the top instead. All activities require good fitness.

We really loved the tour! Our driver Arif was great and brought us to each destination safe and sound. The individual tours were amazing as well and all three tourguides were so knowledgeable and fun. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.

We had a wonderfull tour, thanks to our excellent tour guide and driver, Hendra. He arranged everything in the hotels, on the road and with the local guides, gave us the freedom to take a break whenever we wanted, and gave us a taste of how the locals spend their days. He knew how to avoid the huge crowds of tourists, which was a big plus for us! Also the local guides for Tumpak Sewu and Ijen were very good! They gave us all the info we needed, but also gave us the freedom to explore the area by ourselves.

Amazing experience. Would definitely recommend doing this with a guided tour as they take care of the organization of all the tickets etc. We had jarred as our driver. He was very professional, calm, and an all around great guy. We definitely enjoyed this trip.

Unforgettable experience with a great guide! The tour was definitely worth it, even if we didn't get much sleep - it was absolutely worth every minute! A special highlight was that we were able to see the rare blue flames on Ijen. Funnily enough, we had the same guide (Nando) as on another tour, and that was an absolute stroke of luck. Nando and our driver were super nice, helpful and even supported us with questions and problems after the tour. Nando really did everything he could to give us a unique, unforgettable experience. Thank you for this great tour - highly recommended!
