Greek Islands Bike & Boat

We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure aboard the Thalassa. The crew was stellar, the food was amazing and fresh, the seas were smooth so we had no issues with motion sickness. The ship was beautiful and clean. The only issue we encountered was the fumes from the engine room, since our cabin was adjacent to it. It was the strongest on the first night after being in port.

Great facilities, great boat, good bikes, wonderful islands, and moorings. Plenty of swim times - all staff very helpful and inclusive. Like minded fellow travellers, incredible chef and his food was way too wonderful.

Narelle and I thoroughly enjoyed our cycling adventure. The crew of eight were great. The chef provided delicious authentic Greek meals. The boat was comfortable and the captain very experience. The daily rides on the various Islands were very stimulating with great scenery and beach swims. The as new hybrid bikes where very comfortable to ride and perfectly maintained. The head guide Tina was exceptional. You couldn't have asked for a more professional and capable tour leader. This was our first guided cycling tour with UTracks and it definitely won't be our last. Greece is so beautiful and the people are very friendly. Our guides Theo and Alex were fantastic! Such great hosts who went above and beyond the each and every day! The ebikes were so fun and helpful with the climbs. Our cook was an amazing chef and cooked many delicious local dishes using her grandmother’s recipes. Each island had something unique to offer and the water is unbelievably blue. On several occasions, we stopped enroute, dropped anchor and had a refreshing swim. There are 2 stand up paddle boards available for use. Over half of the guests were on their 4 or 5 tour with this company. That says a lot!!

Giannis and Tina were exceptional leaders. Giannis was very knowledgeable on Greek culture history politics and even development of the Greek language and its underpinning of Latin. Both leaders were entertaining with their stories and sharing of Greek myths and legends. They also very effectively varied and replanned our trip when the weather became problematic. I find it difficult to fault their performance and thought they were both very professional but friendly and fun at the same time. I have travelled a great deal in my life so my opinion comes from wide experience. The whole trip, bikes, the boat captain, crew, chef, food and facilities were excellent. I had a great time.

We had a marvellous time and our guides, Dionysis and MaryLou, made the trip - the crew worked really hard too. Great relaxed cycling, fabulous bikes (and batteries and great support when needed from the guides ref maintenance). A stunning new area for us to experience and explore! Thanks to our guides for their enthusiasm, knowledge and sheer energy to pull our lovely group together and all their efforts to entertain us. It's been a wonderful opportunity to see the Greek Islands and we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the extra excursion to make up for missing our last day's cycling due to high winds when we returned to Athens not Porous! I loved the Corinth Canal, Mycenae and Nafplio - an extra bonus! Would highly recommend!

Great boat, excellent staff, wonderful food, very good cycling opportunities but these were not realised to the extent advertised.

Greek Islands Bike & Boat

3 Jul 2024

The weather was very hot and sunny but still our cruising was compromised due to weather which was hard to understand. We had lots of 'options' and changes which were not what we signed up for and less riding than expected. However, Greek Islands are beautiful in any conditions!
