Cycle Pisa to Florence

20 Oct 2023

Routes were great! - lots of challenges - but doable for the average cycler. Any trouble with the GPS was generally in a town where the turn directions were a little tighter. - There was lots to see and we often stopped just to take a look at the amazing view. We paid for the hotel upgrade and were very satisfied with 3 of the 4 locations we stayed. Anyone who enjoys cycling and doesn't mind going down to granny gear regularly for the inclines would have a great time. Breakfast as explained in the outline was very understated. It was more than ample to get you going for your day.

The bike ride was mostly enjoyable. I did feel vulnerable riding in and out of Florence amongst the traffic. The E Bikes were great. The app on the phone was easy to read. Accommodation was mostly good.
