El Calafate is a very charming town of double-pitched roofs and colorful gardens that always offers a friendly welcome to its travelers, plus it is also the gateway to the lakes, Andes and Southern Patagonian glaciers, namely the Perito Moreno Glacier. El Chaltén is a Patagonian small town often proclaimed as the «National Trekking Capital of Argentina,» but it is also well-renowned for amazing climbing, camping, horseback riding, fishing, rafting, and many other outdoor activities. You’ll participate in some famous treks, including Mt. Fitzroy, and other activities here in Patagonian Argentina.Following in just over a week; you will trek through almost 65 miles (100 km) of trails and stay at a variety of lodges; shelters (refugios) or camping for the overnights. After all; this tour is best suited for experienced trekkers; or physically-fit adventurers who are willing to practice hiking trails with, at times, demanding conditions.
