The Langtang valley & Gosaikunda Lake Trek offers trekkers to visit around beautiful Langtang valley, holy lakes, and cross Laurebinayak Pass at 4610 meters. Visit the perfect blend of nature and culture during this 15 days adventurous trekking. Enjoy the majestic Himalayan views, walking through the Langtang National Park, and acknowledge local traditions of Tamang people. This trek starts as we take a scenic Bus drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The easy road trip access has made it a more comfortable drive these days. Then we will head towards Kyanjin Gompa via Lama Hotel and Langtang village. Stunning views of the Langtang Himalayan range can be seen from Kyangin Gompa. Then After we heading east, push ourselves through high altitude serene pilgrimage site at Gosaikunda Lakes (4,380m). And cross the Laure Binayak pass is another major highlight of this trek.

Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

After you arrive at Tribhuwan International airport, Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative will pick up you and transfer to the hotel. You can freshen up and have a walk around Thamel. In the evening Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative will give some briefing about your Langtang trek and routes. Overnight at hotel inclusive Breakfast.
Day 2 : Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi (1,460M) 7-8 Hours.

After having breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, which takes about 7 to 8 hours by Tourist bus. We start north out of Kathmandu valley along the magnificent foothills. While passing through the road along the bank of Trisuli River, on the way, we can see a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, Tibet peaks, terraces, and green hills. overnight stay in the guesthouse.
Day 3 : Trek From Syabru Besi To Lama Hotel (2,380M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Syabru Besi, we start our first day trekking to the Lama hotel. We will follow the trails that go through the Langtang River and we pass through the dense forest. We'll cross suspension bridges and follow the trail as it goes up and down. After we reach Lama Hotel, we will spend our night at the local teahouse.
Day 4 : Trek From Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3,430M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast at Lama Hotel, the trail ascends through dense rhododendron, oak and pine forests. The trail goes through that forest, we can see some snow-capped peaks of Langtang and a beautiful valley with grazing domestic animals like Yaks, cows, sheep, goats, and horses. The village is one of the oldest villages along with this trekking route and the view visible from here is very impressive. We will spend our night at Teahouse.
Day 5 : Trek From Langtang Village To Kyanjin Gompa (3,865M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

Leaving Langtang Village, today is an easy and short day trek to Kyanjing Gompa. It takes about 3-4 hours to reach to Kyanjing Gompa. This place is the last human settlement of the Langtang valley. At Kyanjing, we can explore the cheese factory and buy some cheese. The Yak cheese produced from this factory is famous all over the nation. Similarly, We can visit monasteries, which carry the religious values of the people living in the Langtang region. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 6 - Exploration Day At Kyanjin Gompa. Hike To Kyanjin Ri (4773M).

At Kyanjin Gompa, we will sightsee in and around Kyanjin Gompa. We will enjoy the amazing views of the natural beauty in the region. We will explore the old Buddhist monasteries and walk a little to have the view of icy cones of Langtang peaks and the glaciers originated from the Himalayas. We can also make another Hike to Tserko Ri (5000m.) or Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) where we can see the spectacular view of Lantang glaciers and Langshisha Kharka. And head back to the teahouse for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Trek From Kyanjin Gompa To Lama Hotel (2,470 M) Duration: 5- 6 Hours.

From Kyanjin Gompa, we revert back our trek downhill to Lama Hotel. It is about six hours easy trek which goes through the beautiful dense green forest and ethnic Tamang settlements. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 8 : Trek From Lama Hotel To Thulo Syabru (2230M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Location: Thulo Syabru

After having breakfast at hotel we make our way through the landslide-prone area and steeply climb to popular Thulo Syabru Village. It will be more of the flora and fauna exploration day as we will spot birds, red pandas along with stunning views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and nearby Langtang Himalayas ranges. overnight stay at the teahouse.
Day 9 : Trek From Thulo Syabru To Singgompa ( 3340M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Thulo Syabru, We gradually climb up to Foprang Danda that follows a steep ascent towards Dursagang from where majestic views of Langtang Himal along with Mt. Ganesh Himal and other Himalayan peaks can be seen. Also, beautiful landscape views of dense forests and hamlets are offered. In the evening we will visit the local cheese factory at Sin Gompa. Overnight stay at the teahouse.
Day 10 : Trek From Sing Gompa To Gosainkunda (4380M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

From Sing Gompa, we slowly climb up towards Laurebinayak. The view from the top of the ridge is absolutely amazing. Then after we hike up to higher altitude we finally reach the serene and pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda Valley. If the weather is good, the views of nearby Himalayas become even more beautiful from Langtang to even Annapurna range on the western side. From here we can see small settlements along with many beautiful lakes around, the major starts Gosaikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Saraswatikunda. Here are many mythological stories behind the creation of these lakes. Today we will spend our night at Gosainkunda.
Day 11 : Trek From Gosainkunda To Ghopte (3,530M) Duration: 7-8 Hours.

After visiting the pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda, We head towards the popular high pass of Laurebinayak pass (4,610m) which is also the highest point of this trek. With stunning views of Manaslu, Ganesh, and Langtang Himalayan range, After spending a some time at the top we trek down to Ghopte for overnight stay.
Day 12 : Trek From Ghopte To Kutumsang (2470) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will walk through the pine forests for around a couple of hours to Thadepati. After climbing uphill to Thadepati, the path is mostly descending. Here are plenty of hotels, teahouse, lodges and guest houses available over there with excellent views of Himalayas blended with local Tamang people’s culture and tradition. overnight stay at guesthouse.
Day 13 : Trek From Kutumsang To Chisapani (2215M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Location: Chisapani - Nagarkot Road

Today after having breakfast at hotel, we slowly trek downhill towards Patti Bhanjyang. Then further after 2 hours of easy walk, we arrive at Chisapani. We will feel much easier to breathe as we are now at a lower elevation. It will be a great refreshing trek walking downhill towards Chisapani. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14 : Trek From Chisapani To Sundarijal & Drive To Kathmandu; Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Chisapani, we will walk through the dense rhododendron forests, beautiful waterfalls, gorges, and river dams. In about four hours of downhill walk, we reach Sundarijal, a popular picnic spot for locals nearby Kathmandu Valley. From here, we take about an hour's drive to Kathmandu Thamel.
Day 15 : Transfer To The International Airport For Your Final Departure.
