My family of 5 just...
26-Dec-2022
My family of 5 just returned from Turkiye. We booked with Turkey Tours Company (TTC) and Serkan was very patient in getting a workable program for us. Firstly, when we first engaged with him, our travel dates as well the number of days in Turkiye kept shifting, and he remained patient in dealing with us although it made his life much more difficult.
Then there was a snafu with the international TT and it was a nail-biting finish (it was resolved 1 day before we travelled).
Once we got to Istanbul, it was top notch door to door service from TTC, from airport pick up, to hotels, to the guides.
Being first timers to Turkiye, it was shocking to see how much history there was in Turkiye ranging from the ancient Greek to the Roman empire to the Ottomans and to the Republic. And the guides from TTC were all able to bring out the history from the ages seamlessly at the sights we were at.
We had Volkan in Istanbul, Rose in Ephesus and Pamukkale, Cengis in Antalya and Gigi in Cappadocia. The hotels were either good hotels in great locations, or great hotels. Breakfast was provided for all the days, and lunch during tour days. So we only had to settle our own dinner (some days we skipped cos we were so full from the lunch).
During the trip, one of my kids fell sick (we did a swab just in case - negative), and the hotel staff informed Serkan who then reached out to me to see if we needed additional assistance. He also got Gigi (our guide) to see if all was OK. Serkan informed that the hotel management was ready to assist us with additional medical care if so required. Thankfully, all was OK but it was the extra touch that was comforting to us, travelling as a family.
I highly recommend TTC and Serkan, as it was a wonderful holiday trip for us, especially travelling for the first time since Covid hit. Could not ask for more.

Just returned from a great...
27-Nov-2022
Just returned from a great family vacation with Turkey Tours Company (TTC) which came highly recommended through a Facebook travel group. Serkan is extremely communicative and always quickly responsive throughout the planning, booking as well as during our tour via WhatsApp. This was very reassuring as we felt as if we had a local friend who was available to us at anytime. Everything went very smoothly even while traveling with 4 kids. The hotels were comfortable and conveniently located. The breakfasts included offered many options and we all enjoyed them. The vans we traveled in were large and very comfortable. Several even had wifi which was a big hit with the kids and made even long drives pass quickly. The tour guides were all extremely knowledgeable and personable. Always open to questions of any kind, even obscure and unrelated ones from our 8 year old. The kids especially got along well with Sercan, our guide in Istanbul who became like an uncle even during our short time with him. Overall we would not hesitate to recommend TTC. We hope to be back to visit more of this beautiful country in the future. Thank you Serkan!
