Emma organized a super great customized 6-day trip for me at an extremely good price (3 days Rwenzori Mountains, 1 day Queen Elizabeth Safari with game & boat drive and another 2 days in total for the gorilla trekking). He was proactive throughout, personable and did everything to make sure I was completely comfortable! I can only recommend Emma and Trek Rwenzori Tour to everyone! If I come to Uganda again, I will definitely book my tours through him again.

We booked all our trip from France directly with Emmanuel of Trek Rwenzori Tours. It was the best choice we did. In fact, they picked us directly at the airport and all the trip was perfectly organised: Trekking to Margherita Peak, Safari, Chimpanzee adventure, Rhino experience, hot spring, crater lakes and rafting, accommodations, food, water… Emmanuel is very kind, helpful and always do what he says without surprises. We share marvellous moments with him and his team (a good thought to Johnson). I DO RECOMMEND !

Ema and John organized a truly wonderful and memorable trip for me. I arrived via Entebbe and was transferred to the Rwenzori Mountains by car, while they explained the landscape to me. At the mountains, I was transferred into the responsibility of the local guides. With me were 4 porters, 1 chef and 1 guide, so I was well taken care of. Starting from day 2, the hike gets pretty tough due to mud and altitude. However, the amazing views and changing scenery are well worth the struggle. Who wants to get higher up needs a bit of courage and a good motivation, as it can be a hard climb at times. Physically, however, you don't need to be a trained mountaineer. If you plan to summit, it helps a lot if you have some climbing experience though (for example from bouldering). I also strongly advise to bring enough warm clothing / many layers, as the nights can get pretty cold. After the hike, John and Ema took me to several other locations, i.e. a boat toor on a canal, chimpanzee and gorilla trekking. These were all really wonderful experiences and I enjoyed them very much. Overall, I am very happy to have booked my expedition with Trek Rwenzori, which has shown to be very reliable and flexible in the planning of my trip and any spontaneous adjustments I wanted to do. This young local enterprise is well worth your trust and support and will enable you to create outstanding memories of your time in Uganda.
