Highlights
Itinerary
Day 1 : Split, Omis
Location: Split, Omiš
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast
All aboard, it’s time to start your sailing adventure! Meet your tour leader and group at 1:00pm at Split harbour. We will enjoy our first lunch on board together, before we set sail in the tranquil waters of the Adriatic Sea. There are plenty of stops for swimming on the way to Omis, a small port located at the mouth of the Cetina River and surrounded by huge gorges. Historically, Omis was home to the fearful pirates whose fast boats were used to attack trade ships. In the afternoon, you can go white water rafting along the Cetina River.
Day 2 : Omis, Makarska
Location: Omiš, Makarska
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
We will start the day with a swim break at beautiful bay along the Dalmatian coast. Next stop: Makarska which is a popular resort town on the mainland that has the Biokovo mountain range as a stunning backdrop. After a brief orientation walk you have the afternoon free to lie on the beach, take part in water sports like parasailing and jet skiing, go on an optional zipline adventure or just enjoy the many cafés, bars and restaurants that line the 1.5km beach. Let’s get this party started, as tonight we will have a rave in a cave!
Day 3 : Hvar
Location: Hvar
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
As the anchor rises this morning, we wave goodbye to the shores of Makarska and are bound for Hvar. Hvar is home to spectacular beaches, pumping nightlife and draws numerous celebrities. After an orientation walk you can sample some fresh cuisine at the local restaurants and then get ready to dance the night away as we hit the local bars and clubs!
Day 4 : Korcula
Location: Korčula
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Ahoy shipmates, this morning we are sailing to Lumbarda beach to go swimming, sunbathing or join in various water-sports and activities. We will then continue to Korcula town, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Korcula is graced with indented coves, rolling hills and a walled old town that resembles a mini Dubrovnik. After an orientation walk you can wander the streets checking out the local markets, visit the house where Marco Polo lived, or grab a cocktail in a bar located at the top of the old city tower for some phenomenal views.
Day 5 : Mljet
Location: Mljet
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Time to say goodbye to Hvar and cruise down the coast to the forest-covered island of Mljet to see its stunning national park and big salt-water lakes. The salt-water lakes were formed about 10 000 years ago and were originally freshwater lakes until the Benedictine Monks dug out a channel to sea. You can still find their medieval monastery on the island of St. Mary in the middle of Veliko Jezero (Big Lake). Spend the afternoon visiting the lakes, go swimming, kayaking, or cycling around the island. Of course, no sailing trip will be complete without dressing like a pirate so tonight we will have our on-board ‘Pirate Party’ with a delicious BBQ and traditional Croatian cuisine. It’s time to shake ye booty!
Day 6 : Mljet, Dubrovnik
Location: Mljet, Dubrovnik
Accommodation: Traditional Motor Sailing Boat
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Feeling a little hungover from the night before? Don’t worry nothing like relaxing in the sun or a swim in the crystal clear waters can’t fix. Later that day we head for the ‘pearl of the Adriatic’, Dubrovnik! Not just a scene location in Game of Thrones, Dubrovnik’s rich history and uninterrupted 2km walls with encircle the city make this city standout in its own right! In the evening we indulge in some fresh seafood, before seeing what the Dubrovnik nightlife has in store — party in a 13th Century fortress anyone?
Day 7 : Dubrovnik City Tour

Another day in paradise! Discover Dubrovnik’s main attractions with your tour leader and local guide. There are always single travellers on our tours. If you don't mind being roomed with another single traveller of the same gender, then you do not need to pay a single supplement, however, this excludes all of our North American tours where the sharing option for a solo traveller is not available, and the single supplement must be applied if you are travelling alone. The single supplement is for travellers who would like to stay in a private room for the duration of the tour. PLEASE NOTE: The single private option is not always available, especially for sailing tours and camping.
