Action packed itinerary where all highlights were

Action packed itinerary where all highlights were seen. Astonishingly high standard of accommodation considering the tour price. Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guides. Would do this trip again with TravelTalk. Be aware it’s a full on and fast tour. Only criticism would be the 10.00pm flight to HCMC, earlier would be much better.

Would not use Travel Talk Tours in large part due

Would not use Travel Talk Tours in large part due to poor communication prior to the trip. The biggest miss was in Visa communication to us and many others on the tour. One example - I asked about 6 weeks before the tour the name of the first hotel as the one given to us initially didn't even exist. The answer was " we haven't picked it yet". This was required for the Vietnam visa. Then changing the first hotel 4 days before the trip began resulted in several people going to the original one given. Maybe Travel Talk could have called us instead of relying on an email that close to the trip. What if we arrived early and paid for the extra night on our own? Most glaring was that another person on the tour called the "emergency phone #" for Travel Talk several times and no one answered. About half of the hotels chosen by Travel Talk were below expectation. When I checked the price online, they were about $40/ night. I was surprised to find out that any tickets for included tours were not included. I was told it was in the fine print. We had to pay tour managers, in cash, the total needed for all included tours. Lastly, I was shocked to have the tour managers handing out paper reviews of the tour, (which included reviews of their performance) in this day and age. I've used other tour companies with comparable pricing that were more professional and received better customer service, communication and hotels.
