Walking the Lycian Way short break over six days is a quick dip into the dramatic landscapes of the eastern section of this long-distance trail. Starting in Antalya, follow ancient pastoral tracks through idyllic Aegean villages, with transfers along the way to trailheads. A self-guided tour, explore archaeological wonders such as Olympos, as well as the mountains Olympos National Park. Other natural heritage highlights include the Eternal Flames of the Chimaera and a trek through Goynuk Gorge. Day 1 : Arrival In Antalya

You are met at Antalya Airport and transferred to Antalya’s Old Town (20mins). Meet our representative, who will brief you on the walks.
Day 2 : Beycik To Cirali 14Km
Location: Çıralı
Accommodation Name: Plaj Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Morning transfer to Beycik junction. Today’s route starts by heading through the fragrant pine forests, before descending and leading to some secluded bays. A swimming break is recommended in the second bay. Continue on along the coast and through more pine forests, towards your accommodation in Cirali.
Day 3 : The Eternal Flames Of Chimaera, Adrasan Bay 24Km
Location: Mount Chimaera
Accommodation Name: Papirus Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
You are transferred to Ulupinar Valley (40mins), then start your hike through pine forests to the ‘burning stones’ known as the Eternal Flames of Chimaera. Mount Chimaera was the name of this place in Ancient Lycia, where methane and other gases emerge from the rock and, causing them to burn constantly. The trail then goes down to Cirali Bay and beach, where you continue further to the ancient city of Olympos, trekking over Musa mountain to the next bay and village of Adrasan, where you spend the next two nights.
Day 4 : Karaoz To Adrasan 23Km
Location: Adrasan
Accommodation Name: Papirus Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
The morning starts with a transfer to the start of the walk (45mins), which gets off to a wonderful start with views across to Gelidonya Lighthouse and out to the Chelidonia Islands. Follow the trail back to your hotel in Adrasan.
Day 5 : Goynuk Gorge 16Km
Location: Antalya
Accommodation Name: Grand Erken Hotel or Kosa Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
You are transferred to Mezarlikdibi village in the mountains of Olympos National Park, with your hike starting above the village at an altitude of 970m. Your hike takes you through small settlements and pine forests to Goynuk mountain village and then further via Goynuk Gorge to sea level. Transfer to Antalya.
Day 6 : Departure
Location: Antalya

Accommodations in double or twin rooms (solo travellers are usually accommodated in single rooms at an extra cost; we never mix and match)

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
If possible, and entirely at the discretion of the Tour Operator, a change of the dates may be possible without charging an amendment fee, provided that it is requested at least 30 days before the departure date. In some cases, we will still have to pass to you any non-refundable charges imposed by our suppliers. In all other cases, change of dates will normally be treated as a cancellation.
