Highlights
Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival Day
Location: Tokyo

Begin your Japan anime adventure in Tokyo! Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda airport, transfer to your accommodation. Discover nearby attractions, immerse yourself in local culture, or simply unwind before your exciting journey ahead.
Day 2 : Tokyo
Location: Tokyo
Accommodation: Hostel
The first day of your Japan anime tour kicks off in style, with a visit to the Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum, which provides a fascinating glimpse into Tokyo’s past. This museum aims to relocate, reconstruct, preserve, and exhibit historical buildings of great cultural value that are impossible to preserve at their original location, as well as to pass on these valuable cultural heritages to future generations. Hayao Miyazaki often visited here during the creation of the Oscar-winning Spirited Away  for inspiration!
After this, we’ll head to the area around Inogashira Park, a green haven in Tokyo’s trendy Kichijoji area. Take some time to wander here, before heading into Harmonica Yokocho. This atmospheric warren of alleyways is home to clothing stores, bars, and local eateries – making it the perfect place to grab some lunch. If you’d like to explore further afield, you’ll have some free time here – so be sure to ask your Adventure Leader for recommendations!
We’ll then take you to the Suga Shrine. During the Edo period, the Shrine was originally two separate shrines – Gozutennou and Inari. However, after the Meiji Restoration, they became enshrined together as the Suga. You might know this spot too: the stairway of the shrine appears at the end of the movie Your Name, at which Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu fatefully encounter each other physically for the first time!
You have the option today to explore the Shinjuku Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) food district, which is filled with dozens of tiny eateries serving ramen, soba, sushi, yakitori and kushiyaki.
Day 3 : Tokyo

Accommodation: Hostel
Today, embark on a captivating Sumida River Cruise, treating yourself to panoramic views of the Tokyo Skyline from Hinode Pier to Asakusa. Dive deeper into Asakusa's allure as you explore its enchanting streets and visit the historic Sensoji Temple, offering insights into Buddhism in Japan.
Next, venture into the vibrant hub of Akihabara, renowned as Japan's "Electric Town" and a cultural epicenter for anime, manga, and J-pop. Delve into the bustling atmosphere and consider immersing yourself in a unique "Made in Tokyo" experience at one of the area's iconic maid cafes.
Cap off the evening with a thrilling karaoke session, a beloved Japanese tradition with a surprise twist awaiting you. Join us on the tour to uncover this karaoke experience first-hand!
Day 4 : Tokyo

Today's adventure begins with a deep dive into otaku culture at Nakano Broadway, a renowned multi-floor complex in Tokyo. Explore its labyrinthine corridors filled with rare anime, manga, and collectibles, offering a treasure trove for enthusiasts.

Embark on a brief tour before delving into the vibrant shopping district, where you'll encounter a kaleidoscope of fashion styles, from maids to punks. Take a moment to soak in the atmosphere before proceeding to the serene Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, pivotal figures in Japan's transition to modernity.
For those seeking an iconic Tokyo experience, a visit to the Shibuya Crossing awaits, where the synchronized chaos of pedestrian traffic captivates onlookers. Following this, enjoy free time to explore the city independently or opt to partake in the exhilarating Kartoon Karting activity, adding an extra layer of excitement to your day.
