Day 1 : Meet Your Fellow Dragons In Hanoi!

This afternoon, head to the hostel where you’ll meet your Adventure Leader (who’ll be coming from the airport!) and the rest of your group.
Following a comprehensive pre-departure briefing about the journey ahead, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your fellow Dragons with an group dinner. If you’re all feeling up to it, you can even head out into Hanoi’s famous nightlife for an evening crawling the bars.
Day 2 : Hoa Lo Prison
Location: Hạ Long Bay
Accommodation: Hostel
Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the Hoa Lo Prison where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Vietnam’s history.
Following this, you’ll head over to Hoan Kiem Lake with its central temple. You can leisurely stroll around the lake, observing the locals as they engage in games and activities on the wide streets constructed by the French in Hanoi’s historical centre. If you’re feeling hungry, Old Quarter Street offers a variety of dining options for you to enjoy.
Afterward, you’ll have a free afternoon to explore Hanoi’s narrow streets, where you can try your hand at crossing the bustling roads just like a local. If you’re in the mood for some evening entertainment, consider attending a Water Puppet Show for a unique cultural experience.
Day 3 : Ha Long Bay
Location: Hanoi

Your adventure takes you to Halong Bay today, an enchanting destination nestled in Vietnam’s northeastern region.
Once you reach the shores of Lan Ha, a serene boat cruise will provide the perfect start to your experience. You’ll be guided to the finest locations, inviting you to partake in a refreshing swim and the chance to get that video of you jumping in from the boat.
As the day draws to a close, the group will relish a delectable buffet dinner on the cruise.
Day 4 : Kayak On Halong Bay's Emerald Waters

Your day commences with an invigorating kayak tour on the mesmerizing emerald waters of Halong Bay. As you paddle, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the limestone islands.
Following this adventurous morning, you’ll join the group for a satisfying lunch. Later in the day, you’ll make your way back to Hanoi and board an overnight bus to Phong Nha.
Day 5 : Cycle To Bong Lai Village
Location: Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park

Upon your arrival in Phong Nha at around 4 am, you’ll proceed to your hostel, where you can take the opportunity to catch up on some much-needed sleep.
Afterward, you’ll embark on a delightful bike ride to Bong Lai village. Here, you’ll make a pit stop at the ‘Pub With Cold Beer,’ engage in some volleyball, and savor a delicious meal.
As you head into the evening, don’t hesitate to consult your Adventure Leader for suggestions on how to make the most of Phong Nha’s nightlife.
Day 6 : Discover Phong Nha's Giant Cave Systems
Location: Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park
Accommodation Name: Overnight Bus
Today, you have the option to immerse yourself in an exciting activity. Spend the day exploring Phong Nha’s vast cave systems, including Paradise Cave and Dark Cave.
Alternatively, you can embark on a hiking adventure along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, where you might be fortunate enough to encounter incredible wildlife like tigers, bears, and elephants.
Following dinner, it’s time to board the sleeper bus to Hoi An.
Day 7 : Ancient Town Tour Of Hoi An

Your arrival in Hoi An is scheduled for 4 am. Take some time to rest at your accommodation in the morning.
In the afternoon, you and your group will head off for an amazing cultural workshop – a lantern-making experience. Later, embark on a guided tour of the ancient town and the riverfront. During this tour, you’ll gain insights into the town’s rich history, particularly its significance as a vital trading post with Japanese and Vietnamese influences.
This evening, you’ve got the option of joining your group for dinner.
Day 8 : Venture To Ba Na Hills
Location: Hội An

Today is your free day to explore Hoi An at your own pace. Alternatively, you might opt for a visit to Ba Na Hills, a French-style village accessible by the world’s longest cable car. On this day tour, you can visit Le Jardin, the old wineries, remains of French villas and the Linh Ung Pagoda.
Alternatively, you can explore a local farm or rent a bike to discover one of Hoi An’s beautiful beaches.
In the evening, savour delightful local cuisine or immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife. You can also opt to join us for the Hoi An memories show, a real-world performance that dramatizes Hoi An’s 400-year old history through state-of-the-art lights and audio.
Day 9 : Travel To Ho Chi Minh

This morning, you can opt to start your day with a fun experience with a staple of Vietnam – coconut basket boats! You’ll head down to get a trip on one of these iconic boats, before heading to a local farm.
Later, you’ll proceed to the airport to catch a flight to our final destination in Vietnam. Relish a dinner in the vibrant city and soak in the nighttime cityscape from a rooftop bar, before opting to join your group and embarking on an exciting bar crawl.
Day 10 : Free Time In Ho Chi Minh
Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Commence your day with a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City, exploring some of the city’s renowned landmarks. You can join your group for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, before the rest of the day is yours.
In the afternoon, you have the choice to visit the War Remnants Museum, an institution that offers vital insights into the history of the Vietnam War.
Come evening, relish your time at a bustling night market to grab the absolute best in local delicacies.
Day 11 : War Remnants Museum And Karaoke Night

This morning, you can join your group on an exploration of the Cu Chi tunnels, an intricate network of connecting tunnels employed during the civil war.
In the afternoon, you might want to immerse yourself in a captivating coffee workshop, where you’ll learn to make – and taste – some famous Vietnamese coffee in a local shop.

Day 12 : Phnom Penh City Walk

Day 13 : S21 Prison & The Killing Fields

This morning, you’ll get a proper introduction to Cambodia from your Adventure Leader, before you head off for a poignant tour of the S21 Prison and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, delving into the harrowing history of Cambodia.
In the latea afternoon, you can opt to join your group for a serene sunset cruise, or explore the vibrant Phnom Penh night market to sample the regional delicacies!
Day 14 : Swim With Bioluminescent Plankton
Location: Koh Rong Sanloem
Accommodation: Hostel
Embark on a journey to Sihanoukville, where you’ll board a ferry to Koh Rong Samloem island, a serene paradise celebrated for its pristine sandy shores, crystalline waters, and tranquil ambiance. Savor a leisurely afternoon by the beach or partake in an exciting kayaking adventure.
As evening descends, we’ll rendezvous at a cliffside bar for drinks, allowing you to relish a cocktail while witnessing a breathtaking sunset. The night will lead you to the beach, where you’ll wade into the water to witness the mesmerizing bioluminescent plankton phenomenon.
Day 15 : Boat Tour & Camp Under The Stars
Location: Koh Rong Sanloem

Commence your day with a delectable buffet breakfast, setting the perfect tone for an island day adventure.
Your journey will include a visit to a traditional fishing village, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture, followed by some leisure time on the sun-kissed beach. Explore the wonders beneath the sea by snorkelling in the vibrant coral reef at a nearby island, enjoying paradise.
This evening, you’ll get cleaned up and grab some dinner, before you head to the beach with your camping gear, ready for an amazing night under the stars.
Day 16 : Bbq On Koh Rong Sanloem & Travel To Siem Reap

If you’d like to kickstart your day, you can opt to take part in:
- A scuba diving session, where you’ll join certified SSI instructors and a divemaster as you take to the shores.
- A beach clean-up, where you’ll join islanders in their fight against marine plastics by helping them to pick up any unnatural debris.
- If you’re after a slow morning, you might choose to simply laze under the sun to work on your tan.
Savor a delightful BBQ lunch on the beach, and in the afternoon, make your way to the mainland where you’ll catch the sleeper bus bound for Siem Reap.
Day 17 : Siem Reap City Walking Tour
Location: Krong Siem Reap

You’ll reach your lodging bright and early, and will check in to your accommodation for a few hours’ rest.
In the late morning, it’s back into the city for a walking trour, where you’ll explore the riverside, the Royal Gardens, the Made in Cambodia market, and receive a blessing for safe travels at Wat Prum Rat Temple.
In the afternoon, you can opt to indulge yourself with a spa session at a nearby facility. Then, in the evening, you can opt to join your group with a trip to the Phare Circus – this incredible social organization provides free education and arts training to over 1200 children every year. Their acrobatics show features a Cambodian storyline and supports the development of the arts.
Day 18 : Sunrise At Angkor Wat
Location: Krong Siem Reap, Angkor Wat
Accommodation: Hostel
Begin your day at the break of dawn as you venture to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument globally! Dedicate a few hours to explore the temples of Angkor, including Ta Prohm, which gained notoriety for its role in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
In the afternoon, you can opt for the Apopo Hero Rats Tour via tuk-tuk, where you’ll learn more about how rats are being used as one of the most effective demining toools in Cambodia.
Come evening, you have the choice to partake in a 1.5-hour tour on a pedal-pub car – including a drink! – followed by the opportunity to sample local Cambodian delicacies.
Day 19 : Lotus Fields Cycling Trip
Location: Krong Siem Reap

Embark on a half-day cycling tour that guides you through lotus fields and a typical Cambodian village. You’ll make various stops, offering you a genuine glimpse into local village life. Visit a duck farm, learn about rice cultivation, and savour local palm wine.
In the afternoon, you might opt to head to Cambodia wake park, for an afternoon of watersports – they’ve got options for inflatable courses, wakeboarding, and an inland beach!

Day 20 : Departure Day
Location: Bangkok
Hop on a bus to Bangkok, where you'll be dropped off at Khao San Road around 4pm. Here, you will say your goodbyes and either head home or continue with your travels!

Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?
Majority of our clients are solo travellers and our prices are based on sharing in dorm style rooms. We do offer single room upgrades for those who do not wish to share a room.

Can you guarantee same-sex dorm rooms?
We always strive to ensure the highest level of comfort and convenience for our valued clients during their travels with us. However, for our tours in Asia, we cannot guarantee same-sex dorm rooms in the hostels we use, particularly during high season, such as the cherry blossom season in Japan. Please rest assured that we do our utmost to accommodate our clients' preferences wherever possible. However, the availability of same-sex dorm rooms ultimately depends on the policies of the hostels we work with. In some cases, different genders may be allocated to the same room due to limited availability.

Passport Details
For most destinations we will require the details to be submitted on our online form (the link for which will be provided post-booking and prior to your travel date). Please note that this needs to be complete & accurate to avoid any late update fees for accommodation and transport bookings. IMPORTANT NOTE: China tours is the only destination where we require an actual copy of your passport. We require these in order to book travel tickets for clients and passports are used during the check-in.

Why do the tours have an age range?
While we strive to cater to a diverse range of travellers, it is important to consider whether the tour aligns with your expectations and preferences. We want your travel experience to be enjoyable and fulfilling, and we believe that selecting a tour that matches your age group and interests is crucial in achieving that. Our tours are very active and jam-packed, including early starts and getting on and off local transportation. There will be a lot of walking, and activities such as cycling. You could be walking up to 20,000 steps per day!

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Our tours are aimed at fun, out-going and open minded individuals. We typically get people aged between 18 to 55 travelling on our trips. Feel free to contact us to see the ages of the people who are booked already. Some of our trips have an upper age limit because of the pace of the tour, style of accommodation and the average age of the group - please do not be offended if we check your age and perhaps recommend a different itinerary. Our premium trips are suitable for most.
