Tour Overview

NuwaraEliya favored ‘Little England’, this genteel highland community does have a rose-tinted, vaguely British-country-village feel to it, with its colonial-era bungalows, Tudor-style hotels, well-tended hedgerows, and pretty gardens. Indeed, Nuwara Eliya was once was the favored cool-climate escape for the hard-working and hard-drinking English and Scottish pioneers of Sri Lanka’s tea industry. It is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Nearby Seetha Amman Temple, a colorful Hindu shrine is decorated with religious figures. Densely forested Galway's Land National Park is a sanctuary for endemic and migratory bird species, including bulbuls and flycatchers.

Firstly, the tour consultant , understood our needs very quickly and made very good suggestions about the itinerary. We went from Colombo to Nuwareliya, 4,30 am . our guide Ranjih was extremely professional. He received us very well throughout the trip, providing great information and teaching us about the cities and places we visited. He was a very friendly travel companion, always polite and in a good mood. The car we used was very safe and comfortable. The hotels were very good in general. Especially Hotel in Nuwaraeliya.

here is beautiful countryside to be seen, and I'd have been more than happy to have spent another night there. I loved going inside and get a feel of the plantation. All this while I had only seen in movies and pics. The Chandana was amazing. After knowing what good and bad tea is, feel more knowledgeable if I must pick any tea over the counter , Nuwaraeliya is an amazing place to visit. You can experience real change in there. You can visit famous Horton plains where there is world's end
