Meals Included: Breakfast
Following breakfast, we will take you to explore some of the most recognizable Outlander sites. First on our list is Doune Castle which plays a leading role in the show, substituting for the fictional Castle Leoch and home to Colum MacKenzie and his clan in the 18th century. Next stops are Tullibardine & Drummond Castle Gardens and Tibbermore Church, famous for its fantastic architecture and parks.
After visiting those places, you will travel to the Highland village of Pitlochry for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will take you to the Highland Folk Museum. Replicas of 18th century turf-roofed Highland crofts at the Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore made the ideal choice for period scenes in Outlander, including when Dougal collects the rent. Our drive continues to the Highland Capital, the City of Inverness.

Following breakfast, you will travel south to Edinburgh. En route, you will drop in at the Falkland Palace and Culross. Historic Culross is a unique example of what a town in Scotland would have looked like during the 17th and 18th centuries. In Outlander, this charming town was the place where Geillis lived and where Claire collected her herbs in the first season. Falkland Palace is the place where some opening scenes of the TV Series was recorded (the 1940s in season 1 and 1960s in season 2).
