The trekking trail that passes through the famous lake Tilicho which is the highest point lake in the world altitude 4920 meters high. This pass is also known as Mesokanto la pass 5340 meters. This trek offers beautiful mountain views of Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Annapurna I. 8091m & other more than 15 high Himalaya peaks of Annapurna region. This is an exciting and beautiful trekking route, is very technical, particularly the downhill part from the Mesokanto-La pass, and we do not recommend it for beginners trekkers, but with views of the mountain at over 8000 meters and a variety of landscapes, plants, and animals, it is well worth the effort. ). It was for long almost totally closed save for a few climbers and expeditions, and since 1974, when Nixon changed the China policy, part of the area above Thini on the Jomsom side became a totally off-limits military area. This trek commences scenic drive to the Jagat via Beshisahar the route of the Annapurna round trek. Now the drive is possible to drive Manang as well, from Jagat our trek start Mesokanto La pass. The flowering vegetation along the route makes anyone feel it is a natural beauty and garden. The exploration with Mountains smile treks of the unique culture of Gurung and Thakali ethnicity who are the indigenous tribes of Nepal’s hillside can be rewarding for the trekkers their traditional lifestyle. The region ideal for both the natural explorers and adventure seekers. Trek around the Annapurna adventure route continues up to Manang village which is ancient and offers unique culture to be explored. After crossing Mesokanto La Pass the place escape is totally unique, arid, and windy.
