Tour Overview
Off the beaten track to “Himalayan of the spirit.” The Manaslu circuit trek is one of the popular treks known for its solidarity and preservation. Manaslu region sees fewer trekkers than other regions so that the paths are less trodden making the journey a peaceful, natural, and wonderful experience perfect for those seeking a getaway from all-time busy lives. Manaslu circuit trek is not jus spellbinding natural beauty, but the traditional Tibetan, Sherpa and Tamang settlements with their unique cultures are another key feature of this region. The Manaslu Circuit Trek starts from the beautiful city of Kathmandu where we explore the UNESCO world heritage sites and then to Sotikhola from where the actual trekking start point. The trekking entire route is adorned with the magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains, a perfect combination of rich local cultural heritage, and adventure between vantage points with incomparable beauty and rare bio-diversity. Mount Manaslu standing at 8,156m is the highest peak in the area, also the eighth highest peak in the world and the seventh highest peak in Nepal. This region is famous for high altitude glacier lakes (Birendra Lake), fascinating flora and fauna, cultural diversity, and richness which make it one of the best-hiking destinations for trekkers around the planet. The standard Manaslu circuit trek starts at Arughat and ends at Besishar and requires a two conservation area trekking permit (Manaslu and Annapurna)to travel all the way through the Manaslu region. The total duration of the Manaslu Circuit Trek can be 8-20 days with trekking and hiking as the main activities. This considered being a moderate level trekking with cultural, historical and natural treks and a maximum elevation of 5,106m. The best season to visit this region the month of March to May in spring and September to December in autumn seasons are considered the best for the trek as the weather conditions become favorable during this time, providing you with good visibility and a suitable atmosphere for trekking.
