The Dhaulagiri is a challenging trek that passes through high alpine pastures, uninhabited valleys, rhododendron forest, high windswept passes, forests, and cultivated terraced hills. Crossing two high passes – the French Pass at 5,360m and Dhampus Pass at 5,200m, and including the Mount Dhaulagiri Base Camp at 4,740 meters, It is a challenging trek that requires a high level of physical fitness. this trek requires with good stamina and basic mountaineering skills, the rewards of Dhaulagiri circuit trek include magnificent views of Tukuche Peak (6,920m), Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8,167m), Mt. Dhaulagiri ii (7,751m), Dhaulagiri III (7,715m) and Dhaulagiri V (7,618m). The Mount Dhaulagiri rises above the deepest gorge in the earth, the Kali Gandaki, and the circuit route provides amazing views of the whole Dhaulagiri range. This trek Discovered in 1808, standing at 8,167m, Dhaulagiri was thought to be the highest mountain in the planet until 30 years later when Kanchenjunga took that honor; later to be taken away by Mount Everest! The Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking route was discovered in the 1950s by a French Expedition team, hence the French Pass, which leads into a lovely area known as Hidden Valley. The Dhaulagiri circuit trail makes its way through villages and terraced farmland, along with beautiful rivers and gorges, and along amazing glaciers and moraine. With time to acclimatize before tackling the high Himalayan passes, there is plenty of great opportunities to take in the spectacular Himalayas views. This is mostly a camping trek that will give you a more personal feel for the surroundings. You will eat well and sleep well under the stars in the hills and valleys surrounding Mt. Dhaulagiri.

Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,300M) And Transfer To Hotel.
Location: Kathmandu

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. At outside the Airport Terminal, a representative of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking cordially receives you and transfers to a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu at Thamel, backpackers colorful market. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking office for a guide introduction and final brief trip information about the trek. In the evening, explore the tourist hub, Thamel.
Day 2 - Explore Kathmandu City And Trek Preparation Day

After having breakfast in the morning, 8:00 am Sherpa Expedition and Trekking City tour guide takes you to a sightseeing trip begins and takes you to several cultural sites and places of historic interest in the Kathmandu Valley. A private car and guide will lead the way!
Day 3 : Drive From Kathmandu To Beni (850M) Duration: 8-10 Hours.

Today, after breakfast, We will take an early morning bus to Beni. The drive is enjoyable with the green scenery. It is the district headquarters where permits will be checked. The town where we stay is situated at the confluence of Myagdi Khola and Kali Gandaki. Overnight at Local guesthouse.
Day 4 : Trek From Beni To Babiya Chaur (950M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

From Beni, we trek along the north bank of Myagdi Khola to the west. We walk through Beni Mangalghat village, Singa, and Tatopani. After crossing two bridges, we will arrive at Simalchaur village on the north bank. We will stay overnight at tent camp.
Day 5 : Trek From Babiya Chaur To Dharapani (1400M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Babiya Chaur, we come across terraced hills on either side of the river. We will fallow the trail is fairly leveled as we pass through villages, Duk Khola, and fields to arrive Rotorunga. As we will trek ahead, the valley narrows and we finally arrive Dharapani where we stay the night.
Day 6 : Trek From Dharapani To Muri (1850M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Dharapani, we will trek through the river to the west bank. From Phedi, we will steep climb until we reach a ridge from where the trail flattens for a while. After the climb up again, we walk through Sibang, Mattim, Ghati Khola, and Phalai Gaon. After crossing Dhara Khola, we arrive at the west bank of Myagdi Khola again. Then after, we will climb a ridge to finally reach the Magar village of Muri. We stay overnight at the camp.
Day 7 : Trek From Muri To Boghara (2085M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Muri, we descend for a short while, cross a stream, and pass through terraced fields before climbing a ridge and reaching a pass. From the pass, we can see glorious Mt. Ghustung South (6465 m.). We descend to the west bank of Myagdi Khola and move to Naura village. Then we climb a little, traverse a hill, and climb another steep hill with zigzag trails. Then we cross a forest and terraced fields to finally reach Boghara. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8 : Trek From Boghara To Doban (2520M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Leaving Boghara, we trek down through terraced fields to a ridge and then after walking through a forest to reach Jyardhan (the most remote settlement in the region). The high winding path crosses a rocky area, drops, and climb up again to reach Lipshe. Then, we will continue walking through a forest to Lapche Kharka and then climb to Doban where we overnight at tented camp.
Day 9 : Trek From Doban To Italian Base Camp (3660M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Today Leaving Doban, We will cross a wooden bridge to exit Doban and then climb up a forest area. We slowly get a glimpse of Mount Dhaulagiri I and then trek down to Myagdi Khola bank. Then we cross a wooden bridge to arrive at the east bank and Chartare. Then after, we cross a forest, rocky area, and a stream to arrive Choriban Khola.
from Chorbian, we trek towards Chhonbarban glacier which we enter from the right. As we soak in the amazing view of Tukuche peak and Dhaulagiri I from the trail, we arrive Italian Base camp after a few times. The Italian base camp (at an elevation of 3660 m.) we can see views of Mount Dhaulagiri II, Dhaulagiri III, and Dhaulagiri V. from Italain Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Day 10 - Acclimatization Day At Italian Base Camp.

Today we have a rest and acclimatize day to the thinning air of the high altitude. We roam around the camp with other trekkers and enjoy the jaw-dropping views of the snow-capped Himalayas peak. The rest is supposed to help ease the trekking days to come we can adjust our body in high elevation. We stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 11 : Trek From Italian Base Camp To Glacier Camp (4210) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, we start our trek early in the morning with good weather to avoid the rock falls that the area is prone to. We cross through a narrow gorge and then reach the Glacier camp. We set our camp at Glacier camp for overnight.
Day 12 : Trek From Glacier Base Camp To Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4740M) Duration: 7-8 Hours.

Today is an exciting day to witness the north face of Mount Dhaulagiri I along with other High Himalaya peaks like Dhaulagiri II, Dhaulagiri III, and Dhaulagiri V. The sight of the ice-fall descending from the north-east is impressive. We set our camp at Dhaulagiri Base Camp for overnight.
Day 13 : Trek From Dhaulagiri Base Camp To Hidden Valley (5000M) Passing French Pass (5360M) Duration: 7-8 Hours.

After breakfast we leave Dhaulagiri Base Camp, we climb across two hills. The first hill runs along the glacier, cuts across a mountainside and moraine. We will climb a gentle slope, we arrive at French Pass at an elevation of 5360 meters. from top of the pass, we will see amazing views that include Mukut Himal, Tashi Kang, and Sita Chuchura which surround Hidden Valley. From here, we will continue along the right edge to reach Thapa pass at 5250m. We trek down from the pass to reach the base camp where we sleep in a tent.
Day 14 - Rest Day At Hidden Valley.

Today is another rest day to relieve the exhaustion and stress of crossing all the passes and glaciers, we take a day off. We stay at Hidden valley enjoying the views of the beautiful Himalayas. We stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 15 : Trek From Hidden Valley To Yak Kharka Crossing The Dhampus Pass (5200M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Leaving the Hidden valley, we will trek down to the Dhampus pass at an elevation of 5200 meters. From here we continue trek to Yak Kharka which place is perfect to set up camp and enjoy the surroundings at 3680m. We stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 16 : Trek From Yak Kharka To Tukuche (2680M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Leaving Yak Kharka, we will steeply trek down through forests and moraines for a few hours to reach Tukuche. we stay overnight local teahouse.
Day 17 : Trek From Tuckuche To Kalopani (2565M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Tukuche, we will take a rocky path (on the bank of Kali Gandaki River) to reach Larjung. Here are many apple orchards. Then after we trek through a leveled path, cross a suspension bridge and a forest to reach Kokkethanti. We trek through villages and cross a suspension bridge to reach our today destination at Kalopani. Overnight local teahouse.
Day 18 : Trek From Kalopani To Tatopani (1180M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Leaving Kalopani, we will take an easy beautiful walk as we move towards subtropical vegetation. The path follows a river through a narrow gorge and treks down to cross a bridge and reach a waterfall. Then after we move across the valley to reach Tatopani. We stay overnight at the local teahouse.
Day 19 - Rest Day At Tatopani (Natural Hot Spring).

Today We take a rest day in Tatopani after all the excitement of the trek. The hot springs in Tatopani are the best ways to relieve our exhaustion while taking a dip. We also get a chance to share our stories with other trekkers in the hot spring. We stay overnight local teahouse..
Day 20 : Drive From Tatopani To Drive To Pokhara (850M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Today we take a jeep or local bus drive to Pokhara. The time to start the bus depends on the local bus counter so our guide makes sure in advance. The drive from Tatopani all the way to Beni Bazar continues to Nayapul then reach Pokhara 5-6 hours, transfer to hotel, check-in hotel, visit Lakeside or waterfalls, Cave, dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 21 : Drive From Pokhara To Kathmandu (1,350M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway. Once again the scenic bus ride will keep us refreshed throughout the journey. On arriving at Kathmandu, you can once roam around this vibrant city and buy gifts and souvenirs to take back home.
