Tour Overview
The Annapurna Circuit Trek was opened for Tourists in 1977. This trek has become renowned as one of the most popular trekking destinations in the earth with lush green valleys and fascinating villages that offer impressive stunning views of the High Himalaya Peaks. This trek is starting from less than 1,000 meters elevation, it gives us an opportunity to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top and from many different angles and perspectives. This23 days trek starts right from Nagdi which goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) and Himal Chuli to the east. This spectacular trek leads us to the beautiful village, inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic cultures, offering magnificent and majestic views of the high Himalayas. Continuing to the north part of the main Mountains range to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking. The highest point of our trek is the Thorong La Pass elevation at 5,416 m from the sea level. Due to the difficulties of crossing the high pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter-clockwise direction. Trekking clockwise the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east is too much for many trekkers to manage in one day. After crossing The Thorong La Pass, we descend to the west at Muktinath, and continuing to the barren Tibetan like the village of the Kali Gandaki – the world’s deepest gorge, passes between the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas. After Muktinath, we head to Tatopani for hot springs and climb Best and famous viewpoint Poon Hill before descending to Pokhara. Trekking to Annapurna Circuit can be a challenge. But this doesn’t mean that you can not do it. If you like hiking and make sure you start to get The Annapurna Circuit is not difficult but trekkers should still be moderately fit. After all, you are still trekking through the Himalayas of Nepal. Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will ensure your safety and comfort at all times to make this an enjoyable adventure into the wilds of the Annapurna region.
