10 days Annapurna Circuit Trek covers most of the attractive sections of the Annapurna region. The 10 days Annapurna circuit trek offers you a wide range of mountain vistas such as Mt Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Mount Manaslu, and many Himalaya peaks. You will get to experience the exotic and magical beauty the Annapurna region has to offer. Trekking to Annapurna Circuit is mostly influenced by Tibetan and Nepali culture. You will get to explore many old Buddhist Gompas, monasteries, Mani Walls, glaciers Lake, settlements, and unique mountain landscapes of this region. During the 10 Days Annapurna circuit trek, you will not only get an opportunity to walk in the beautiful trekking paths but also explore some of the most amazing mountain villages in the region. Bathing in the natural hot water spring at Chame is an amazing experience to have. Along with this, the journey involves visiting some of the rural villages of Ngawal, Manang, Jomsom, etc. This 10 days trek leads you to the heart of the Annapurna Region starting at Besisahar and on to Chame and then to the Pisang Valley. Sherpa Trekking & Expedition’s experienced guide will take you to Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, Thorong La Pass, Muktinath, and ultimately, Jomson. The route will take you to the height of 5416 meters at Thorong La Pass which is the highest point of the trek.

Day 1 : Drive From Kathmandu Jagat Via Beshisahar (8,23M) Duration: 8-9 Hours.

Location: Jagat

Accommodation: Hotel

Today after having breakfast, we drive to Besishar from Kathmandu in the morning. From Beshisahar we change the Jeep for another 3 hours drive to Jagat. Where you spend your first night of the trek. Jagat is near to Marysangdi River. We will get a good view of the river. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 2 : Trek From Jagat To Dharapani (1,860M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast, We will start walking gradually following the beautiful Marsyangdi River. This walk will be slightly ascending and we will come across the beautiful waterfalls on this walk we reach Tal and continues along an impressive, wide valley upwards along stone staircases until we reach the village of Dharapani.

Day 3 : Trek From Dharapani To Chame (2,610M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Dharapani, We will continue our trek enjoying the view of mountains, and beautiful waterfalls on the way. Today will be an easy day. After 5 hours of walking, we will reach Chame, the headquarter of Manang district. It’s a beautiful little town with more facility than our previous trekking days.

Day 4 : Trek From Chame To Pisang (3240M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast at Chame, we climb up to Telekhu and continue on a long, mostly flat path through a forest to Bhrathang. We cross the Marshyangdi via a suspension bridge. Reach Dhikurpokhari and 45 minutes trek to reach Pisag. We will stay in Pisang at the teahouse.

Day 5 : Trek From Pisang To Manang (3519M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

The Pisang village divides of lowland settlements from those in the mountains. Visit the Tibetan-style village of Braga, where houses are stacked upon each other with the roof of one house acting as a veranda of the one above it. The main attraction of Braga village is its monastery, the largest in the district. With an array of statues on display, this monastery is perched atop a high crag and provides wonderful views of the surrounding areas. From Braga 45 minutes trek to reach Manang. We will stay in Manang at the teahouse.

Day 6 : Trek From Manang To Yak Kharka/Ledar (4200M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

After having breakfast, we head off on 4 hours an uphill trek to Yak Kharka passing through juniper forests and may see yak grazing in the pastures. On the way, we pass the only teahouse at Thorong Khola. Depending on the conditions we may decide to go a little further and stay the night at Ledar. We will stay in Yak Kharka/ Ledar at the teahouse.

Day 7 : Trek From Ledar To Thorong Phedi (4,560M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

Location: Thorong Phedi

Today short day to aid acclimatization. The scenery becomes wilder as we continue ascending the valley. At one point we descend to cross the Jarsang Khola and traverse a scree slope to the lone teahouses at Phedi at the foot of the Thorong La (4,560m). Thorong Phedi can be very cold and windy.

Day 8 : Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416M) Then Trek To Muktinath (3,802M) Then Drive To Jomsom (2,700M) Duration 7-9 Hours.

Today, Time to cross the highest navigable mountain pass in the world. you need to care about the altitude and strong winds. The trail we follow today has been used for hundreds of years by traders. from Phedi to trek for about 6 hours to reach Thorong La. Cross the pass while enjoying beautiful views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and other mountains. See Mt Dhaulagiri up close while descending. The trail becomes less steep as it enters grassy fields and meadows to finally reach Muktinath, one of the holiest shrines of the Hindus that is also known for its hot water spouts. Then after we will take a drive to Jomsom for overnight stay.

Day 9 : Drive From Jomsom To Pokhara (8,50M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

We take a drive to Pokhara through the deepest canyon of the globe lying between two large mountain ranges of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri with several snow-topped peaks.the lake city in the earliest possible airplane. After checking-in at our hotel, we may take a rest or visit the Lakeside area in the vicinity of the Fewa Lake. Here, we can indulge in buying some souvenirs or sampling some local delicacies. Overnight in Pokhara. You will stay in Pokhara at the Hotel

Day 10 : Drive From Pokhara To Kathmandu (1,350M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway. Once again the scenic bus ride will keep us refreshed throughout the journey. On arriving at Kathmandu, you can once roam around this vibrant city and buy gifts and souvenirs to take back home.

    Yes, you can get on arrival tourist visa at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Most of the people can obtain visa on entry to Nepal. There are some countries visa will need to be organised prior to travelling. $30 USD for 15 days of visa from the date of issue, $50 USD for 30 days and $125 USD for 90 days tourist visa.You can apply visa online.

This is with no doubt is challenging trek. It could be very hard but beginners could still do it. Just be sure you lightly pack your baggage and take porter. It was my first time trekking ever but I made it with the help of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team. Landscape was amazing and the sights are stunning!
