Day 2 : Versailles
Location: Paris

Optional excursion to Versailles, home to the famous château and gardens. Originally created for Louis XIV, the Château of Versailles has been a member of the UNESCO World Heritage list for over 30 years. 
You can choose to admire the magnificent gardens or spend time exploring the interior of the château. No expense was spared in the creation of the sumptuously decorated palace, best known for its Hall of Mirrors.
If visiting the gardens, enjoy a relaxing stroll along Versailles’ own Grand Canal, or why not discover the many fountains and pools, some of which are fine examples of sculpture.
If you choose to visit the palace then there are various types of admission tickets available depending on what areas you would like to see. (Château entrance is at extra cost and subject to local queueing times. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket you purchase, but approximate cost is between €18 and €27).
Day 3 : Monet’S Garden

Enjoy a visit to Monet’s Garden at Giverny. The perspectives, symmetries and colours of the flower garden and water garden were the inspiration for some of his most famous works.
The artist lived here from 1883 until his death in 1926, and today his house and in particular the gardens, made famous by his painting of the water lilies, have been restored to Monet’s original designs.

The city is renowned for the beauty of its architecture, as well as the wealth of its museums. Built on an arc of the River Seine, it is divided into two parts, the Right Bank to the north and the smaller Left Bank to the south.
