While docked in Zante, you will have plenty of time to walk around the Town, sit at some local restaurant or bar and simply take in the Ionian breeze!

On day two, we will be heading to Kefalonia’s Agia Efimia, which is a traditional fishing village centered on a small harbor.

It contains a number of taverns, bars and shops, a traditional wood-fired bakery, as well as tourist accommodations and local residences.

In the evening, stroll through this beautiful, picturesque village and take your pick of Greek eats, from the idyllic tavern-lined promenade, where you can watch the sunset while enjoying your traditional Greek dinner!

Day 3 : Fiskardo (Kefalonia)

On the third day, we cruise to Fiskardo!

With white pebble beaches, striking blue seas and its lush green countryside, Fiskardo is one of Greece’s best-kept secrets.

You can easily explore this town with a rental bike/car, bicycle or even on foot!

Watch the fisherman go about their work, from one of the seafront cafes, before enjoying some of the best seafood at one of the excellent local taverns, that stock the best catch of the day, the Island has to offer!

Day 4 : Nyrdri (Lefkada)

Nydri, though sometimes hidden, unveils its beauty, inviting us to revel in its serene allure.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Half Board (Daily)

On the fifth day, we leave Kefalonia and head to Meganisi.

However, as we make our way to this legendary island, we'll indulge in a refreshing swim stop at the hidden oasis of Atokos, enhancing our journey with a touch of aquatic delight.

After a satisfying breakfast, we set sail, relishing lunch onboard amidst the boundless blue. As we navigate the Ionian Sea, we'll cruise towards Atokos for an invigorating swim in its pristine waters. This uninhabited gem, with its secluded coves and untouched beauty, offers the perfect interlude.

Following our swim stop, we continue our course toward Ithaca, the main highlight of our day. The enchantment of Ithaca awaits, but not before Atokos bestows upon us a moment of aquatic serenity, making our voyage a harmonious blend of exploration and relaxation.

  • Are airport transfers included in this tour?

No, but we can arrange transfers for you. Either pre, or post your cruise! Simply contact us for further info.

  • What's the difference in Island hopping, between "Sail in Greece" and other mass-scale commercial ferry companies?

The difference between island hopping with us, and island hopping with any other mainstream-commercial ferry company, is mainly, the overall experience and comfort! Commercial Island hopping, would mean standing for hours in line, just to boat your ferry, traveling with other thousands of people, sometimes for many hours without truly being comfortable during the trip, absurd time schedules, as most commercial ferries have crazy embarkation/disembarkation schedules (sometimes as early, as 04:00 in the morning). Additionally, during commercial Island hopping, you won’t have any standard accommodation for that period, which means that you will be carrying your luggage everywhere you go, without the possibility of leaving them somewhere stress-free. On the other hand, traveling with us, on your own private gulet, would mean, overwhelming comfort due to the fact, that you will have the same accommodation for the whole trip’s duration! Of course, plenty of storage to leave your luggage and belongings, without the fear of losing anything, as our crew never leaves the ship. This means that your belongings will be safe, throughout the week you will be traveling with us! And also, besides the cruising hours, there is no other major time restriction, so you will have plenty of time, to do whatever you want!

  • Is there any free time to explore places during the tour?

Definetely! Considering that our fuel consumption is equivelant to 4 cruising hours, per day, the remaining time of the day, guests will have plenty of time to either explore their destinations, have a dinner, or plan any possible excursion they are interested in!

  • What currencies are required for this tour?

Greece's official currency, is the Euro (€)

  • Are flights included in this tour?

Flights are not included. Nor optional.

  • Are the local guides on the tour English speaking?

Guided tours are optional. Thus, depending on the actual demand, we can definetely acquire an equivelant-speaking guide!

  • When is the check-in and departure?

Check-in is every Saturday at 16:00, from May until the end of October. The actual departure in on Sunday, up until 11:00. For more specific dates, please see our cruise calendar.

  • Are all entrance fees included in the price?

No, the only additional cost passengers should expect, is a one time 80€ per person port fee, which guests have to pay in cash, directly to the captain at their arrival upon the vessel.

  • Is there a supplement for solo travellers?

Yes, there is. Our single cabin-occupancy charge, is at "Entry-rate + 75% of that entry-rate"

  • I will be traveling alone, is there any single supplement?

Many of our guests, choose to travel alone, as it follows the basic idea of our cruises. Independent individuals, come alone but travel with same-like-minded people, so many in the end, actually become friends! Please know, that if you are traveling solo, we will always try to allocate you to a cabin, with your same gender. On the other hand, if you desire to have your own private cabin, there will be an extra charge of 75% of the total amount of one's person’s price.

  • Is the tour coach air conditioned?

Yes, all of our vessels provide on board A/C. The onboard A/C is active daily for 6-8 hours, depending on the needs. Overnight A/C is optional and available, at an additional 140€ per person. (for the entire week)

  • What is the onboard accommodation standard?

All our onboard cabins and lounges, are equivelant to 3-star accommodation facilities.

  • What is the available cabin type and what do cabins include?

We do have a variety of cabins, which range from doubles to twins (lower beds-bunk beds) to triples and a few quads, depending on the operating gulet. All cabins besides, their comfortable mattresses, are ensuite with their own shower, a hair dryer, a wardrobe for storage, reading lights, their own individual A/C device and an electric fan! If you want to be in the same cabin with your friends, just mention it, while booking with us. We can not guarantee that you will be together, but we will make everything possible to actually do that! Please keep in mind, that we provide (1) one set of fresh linen and towels, for the cruising week.

  • Money Exchange

In Greece you can exchange any foreign currency and/or traveler checks in banks and money exchange “kiosks” in Athens and in the main islands. Useful tip: remember that Greek banks open from 8:00am until 2pm and don’t reopen later. The only currency accepted in Greece is the EURO.

10 stars deserved

22-Jun-23

If I could give 10 stars I would. We are a group of 4, my mum of which is 81 and we have had an incredible holiday with Sail in Greece. They have been excellent at communication and always answered every text and email instantly. Our crew on board Aphrodite have been fantastic, looked after us and the food has been exceptional. Aphrodite is very comfortable, clean and feels like home. We were part of a great mix of Italian, Australian, French, American and British and such a lovely friendly vibe was present always. We will be very sorry when our trip ends on Saturday. I will definitely book again and recommend this 100% if you want to see a few Greek islands at a luxurious pace.
