Starting with a scenic flight to Lukla, the trek follows trails through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This protected area is home to diverse wildlife, pristine glaciers, and breathtaking mountain views. You’ll pass through Sherpa villages, where you can experience their warm hospitality and explore their rich culture, deeply influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. Along the way, you’ll witness majestic peaks like Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu. The trek combines three unforgettable experiences: the classic Everest Base Camp, the challenging Cho La Pass, and the serene Gokyo Lakes. The highlight is undoubtedly the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, set against snow-capped mountains. Crossing the Cho La Pass, one of the most famous high passes in the region, offers a sense of achievement and awe-inspiring vistas. Why Choose This Trek? The Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass is a unique blend of natural wonders and cultural discovery.
