The tour we took was exactly as advertised and lived up to all expectations. Our guide Pete and driver Francis were second to none and took the best care of us. I could not imagine doing this tour with anyone else.

Zambia to Nairobi (Accommodated) - 21 days

16-Sep-2024

We underestimated the rough road conditions, the long drive days, the lack of, and length of stops (never more than 5-10 minutes). Our guide was great as far as getting things done; very organized and timely but he never rode with us in the truck which I understand other guides did so. The metal truck was noisy and of course hard on the body with the bumps, ruts, speed bumps, etc. Difficult to have a conversation, read, write, etc. No place to purchase coffee or treats except every few days when we stopped for groceries, where we bought water and snacks for ourselves. Not suitable trip for two female seniors to venture out alone. Nights with little or no electricity.
