Day 1: Tromso

Welcome to Tromsø, Northern Norway's Arctic Capital!
Today you will find your own way to the hotel or take a pre-booked private transfer. There will be a welcome meeting in the hotel lobby tonight at 18:00. For those who arrive late, your welcome meeting will be tomorrow morning at 8:00.
If you have free time today, consider exploring this wonderous city. Located 69 degrees north and 230km above the Arctic Circle, Tromsø is a lively city with world class seafood restaurants, exciting nightlife and captivating museums and art galleries. There's something for everyone to see in this winter wonderland!
Day 2: Tromso
Location: Tromso

After breakfast this morning, we will enjoy an exciting reindeer safari (4 hours). Reindeer sleighing is one of the oldest forms of transportation in the North, and an important part of Sami culture. Taking the sled in pairs, you will be guided by reindeers through scenic surroundings, be sure to take in the arctic nature and enjoy this moment. This activity is suitable for everyone, so no one has to miss out!
Afterwards, you will learn about lasso throwing, which is the traditional Sami way of catching and herding reindeer together. Sami are a group indigenous to Norway, so you'll learn about their culture, history and experience an emotional Lappish ancestral folk song. Afterwards, enjoy a hot meal.
In the afternoon, we will drive to the picturesque Sommarøy Island, where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Sommaroy Island
Location: Sommarøy

Today begins with a panoramic walk of Sommarøy. With a population of only 300, Sommarøy is one of the busiest fishing villages in in the county of Troms region. Not only will you learn about the history and fishing traditions of the small village, but you will also get to enjoy the breathtaking arctic views from Sommarøy Island.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Why not consider an optional 1-hour Sea Eagle Safari by RIB boat? You will embark on a guided tour by RIB or boat and search the islands and cliffs for Sommarøy's large colony of sea eagles. The majestic bird can be spotted year-round.
Alternatively, explore the island or enjoy a complimentary sauna at the hotel.
After dinner, you will search for the famous Northern Lights during our Arctic Lights Campfire Tour. Sommarøy's beaches are free from light pollution, making the area a perfect spot to search for the auroras. Take in the sounds of nature and the arctic waves crashing ashore, and hopefully we will be lucky enough to experience the bright phenomenon! During this time, enjoy small snacks over the fire and a hot drink to keep you warm.
Day 4: Tromso
Location: Tromsø

This morning we will head back to Tromsø. Spend the afternoon at leisure or consider an optional Husky Safari. This afternoon you can also visit the Polar Museum, an included attraction which is dedicated to the lives of Arctic trappers and explorers.
Later this evening you may choose to join an optional snowmobile tour or Northern Lights Cruise.
Day 5: Tromso
Location: Tromso

Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the morning at leisure. Make sure to take one last stroll around the city or purchase last minute souvenirs.
