Visit the Egyptian Museum this morning and discover the treasures of Tutankhamun. Later, visit the Citadel of Saladin and the bustling Khan el-Khalili bazaar.
Day 3 : Pyramids Of Giza

Discover the legendary pyramids and the Sphinx today with a guided tour. If you’re feeling brave then enter inside one of the pyramids and explore, before we return to the hotel. Enjoy the afternoon with your family at leisure, before we board the overnight train to Aswan.
Day 4 : Aswan

Arrive in Aswan and visit Philae Temple and a traditional perfume oil emporium, before spending the afternoon at leisure. This evening, visit the bustling Aswan Market and enjoy the smells of traditional spices being traded by the merchants.

Board a traditional Egyptian felucca and sail to Elephantine Island for today’s half-day excursion, where our guided walk will take in many archaeological sites and a visit to a local school (if open). Enjoy lunch and some family time back onboard before an optional visit to the Nubian Museum this afternoon.
Day 6 : Aswan

Enjoy a motorboat ride to the West Bank and ride a camel ride to St Simeon's Monastery. Later, we drive to Luxor stopping at the symmetrical double temple of Kom Ombo en route.
Day 7 : Luxor

Explore the tombs of ancient pharaohs at the famous Valley of the Kings. We'll then see the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and stop at the Colossi of Memnon - two giant statues of the pharaoh Amenhotep III. Later, discover the magnificent Karnak Temple and marvel at the great pillars and statues which make up the site. There is an optional excursion to Luxor Temple this evening (book locally).
Day 8 : Luxor
