DAY 2: ANCHORAGE TO DENALI
Indulge in a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day. Board the motorcoach for a scenic journey north towards Denali National Park. Along the way, the Parks Highway will treat you to breathtaking views, and there will be several stops to appreciate the surroundings. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of the majestic Denali and the wildlife that inhabits the area. Cap off the day with a welcome dinner. DAY 3: DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast before embarking on a journey into Denali National Park. Today's highlight is the Tundra Wilderness Tour, a five to six-hour adventure that takes you deep into the wilderness in search of bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This narrated tour provides valuable insights into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region, complete with a snack on the bus for your enjoyment.
As part of the tour, make an interpretive stop at the Adolf Murie cabin, offering a glimpse into the history and science of this vast landscape. The afternoon is yours to explore the pristine area at your leisure. You can choose to participate in a complimentary park service activity or opt for one of the many optional tours available. Options include mild or wild river rafting, flightseeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River, or a visit to an Iditarod champion’s award-winning dog kennel.
