Day 1 : Adanwomase Kente Village & Ntonso Adinkra Stamping.

6:00AM pick up in a private air-conditioned vehicle at location of your choice.
Depart busy Accra to Kumasi, capital town of the Ashanti kingdom and Ashanti Region.
Visit Adanwomase and Ntonso, two Ashanti traditional crafts villages.
Tour a Kente weaving, Adinkra cloth stamping and a wood carving villages.
See the various stages of Adinkra production and Kente weaving.
Learn how the Ashanti’s came by these unique traditional crafts.
Overnight at Kumasi.
Day 2 : Prempeh Ii Jubilee Museum, Okomfo Anokye Sword Site & Manhyia Palace.

Visit the National Cultural Center, a few meters away from the Kejetia market.
Tour Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which provides a fascinating collection of Ashanti history and treasures.
Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to make a sightseeing of the sword Okomfo Anokye buried into the ground about 300years ago, exact place where Okomfo Anokye conjured the Golden stool unto the laps of king Osei tutu I, founder of Ashanti Kingdom. Continue to Manhyia Palace, an official seat and residence of the Asantehene. Witness the Akwasidae grand durbar as the Asantehene sit and receive homage from his subjects and subchiefs. Enjoy the drumming and dancing at the ceremony.
