Day 2 : Accra City Day Tour

8:00Am pick up in a private air-condition vehicle in Accra. Visit W.E.B. Du Bois Center, take a guided tour of the museum and listen to history of the Father of Modern Pan-Africanism. Continue to the Independence Square and visit the Eternal Flame of African Liberation, lit by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah first President of Ghana. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, dedicated to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah for his struggle for Ghana’s independence. Listen to history of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his vision for Ghana. Stop at Makola Market, Accra’s largest open market overflowed with goods, people, scents and sounds to see how local Ghanaian market operates. Continue to Jamestown, a fishing community as well as one of the historic old towns of Accra. Take a guided tour of its interesting sight and learn new things.

Day 3 : Local Air Flight To Tamale, Larabanga, Mole National Park.

Pick up in a private air-condition vehicle at your hotel in Accra to the local terminal of the Kotoka International Airport. Board a 9:30 am domestic air flight to Tamale. Meet your guide for a pickup in a private air-condition vehicle to Mole National Park. Stop at Larabanga to see the ancient Sudanese style mud-and-stick Mosque, the oldest Mosque in Ghana and the mystic stone. Afternoon safari drive at Mole National Park.

Day 4 : Safari Walk, Eco Village Walking Tour, Safari Drive.

Morning safari walk at Mole National Park. Experience an Eco-walking tour at the Mognori village.
Afternoon safari drive to see animals of the park such as elephants, buffaloes, water hogs, water-bucks, antelopes, hyenas and others.

Day 5 : Kintampo Waterfalls & Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary

After morning breakfast, depart south towards Kumasi, stop at the Kintampo Waterfalls to see the falls scenic flow.
Continue to see a natural environment with over 700 monkeys at Boabeng-Fiema Sanctuary.
Walk through the monkey trails and listen to history of the sanctuary.
Learn about the Colobus and Mona monkeys of the sanctuary.

Day 6 : National Culture Center, Okomfo Anokye Sword Site & Manhyia Palace.

Morning visit to the National Cultural Center a few meters away from the Kejetia market. Tour Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which provides a fascinating collection of Ashanti history and treasures. Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to make a sightseeing of the sword Okomfo Anokye buried into the ground about 300 years ago, exact place where Okomfo Anokye conjured the Golden stool unto the laps of king Osei tutu I, founder of Ashanti Kingdom Continue to Manhyia Palace, an official seat and residence of the Asantehene. Learn about the history of the Ashanti kingdom including the royal lineage, rituals and the struggles with the British forces in the colonial days.

Day 7 : Ashanti Crafts Villages.

Visit Adanwomase a Kente weaving village. Take a tour of the village seeing the Kente craftsmen weaving pieces of Kente cloths with their wooden looms.
Continue to Ntonso an adinkra cloth stamping village. See and learn the various stages of adinkra production.

Day 8 : Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River & Cultural Performance.

Morning travel to Elmina stopping at Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site to see, where slave captives were made to take their last bath before transported to the America’s.
An evening cultural performance to enjoy a scenic drumming and dancing performances.

Day 9 : Elmina Castle, Cape Coast Castle & Kakum National Park

Visit Elmina Castle, one of the most important stop destinations during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
Continue to Kakum National Park, a tropical rain forest of an area of about 375 square kilometers notable for nature and wildlife. Hike the Canopy Walkway suspended between 11-40 meters high above sea level and 350 meters long. Experience nature and the beautiful view of the forest in a secured series of nets and wires.
Tour the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the largest slave-holding sites during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Depart for Accra,
Day 10 : Traditional Ghanaian Cooking Lessons
