Morning pick up in a private air-condition vehicle from your hotel. Visit W.E.B. Du Bois Center, take a guided tour of the museum and listen to history of the Father of Modern Pan-Africanism. Continue to the Independence Square and visit the Eternal Flame of African Liberation, lit by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah first President of Ghana. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, dedicated to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah for his struggle for Ghana’s independence. Listen to history of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his vision for Ghana. Stop at Makola Market, Accra’s largest open market overflowed with goods, people, scents and sounds to see how local Ghanaian market operates. Continue to Jamestown, a fishing community as well as one of the historic old towns of Accra. Take a guided tour of its interesting sight and learn new things.
Day 3 : Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Mount Gemi.

Morning pick up in an air-conditioned vehicle. Depart for Shai Hills Resource Reserve, a 50 kilometres square and only wildlife reserve in the Greater Accra plains. Tour through the reserve with a special site guide to see birds, butterflies, Baboons, ostrich, zebras and other animals in the Reserve. Continue to Amedzofe, the highest town in Ghana to hike the beautiful and rounded peak of Mount Gemi.

Day 4 : Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, Tafi Abuife Kente Village, Wli Waterfalls.

Morning travel to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, a small village with a habituated Mona monkey population of about 350. Feed them some bananas to enjoy their friendly nature. Visit Tafi Abuife Kente Village, a small kente village with most of the kente weavers working outdoors. See the excitement in the craftsmen as they weave their kente strips with the Loom. Hike through the thick semi-deciduous forest to Wli Waterfalls to enjoy a chilly and refreshing falls from up high the mountains.

Day 5 : Volta River Boat Ride, Bead Factory, Kumasi.

Enjoy a morning motorboat cruise on the Volta river. Relax and refresh having a beautiful view of the river.
Visit a bead factory to see how traditional Ghanaian beads are crafted.

Day 6 : Adanwomase Kente & Cocoa Village, Ntonso Adinkra Stamping.

Morning travel to Adanwomase a kente weaving village. Take a tour of the village seeing the kente craftsmen weaving pieces of kente cloths with their wooden looms. Visit a cocoa farm to see how cocoa is produced in Ghana. Continue to Ntonso an Adinkra cloth stamping village. See and learn the various stages of Adinkra production.

Day 7 : National Culture Centre, Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, Manhyia Palace Museum & Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site.

Morning visit to the National Cultural Center a few meters away from the Kejetia market. Tour Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which provides a fascinating collection of Ashanti history and treasures. Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to make a sightseeing of the sword Okomfo Anokye buried into the ground about 300 years ago, exact place where Okomfo Anokye conjured the Golden stool unto the laps of king Osei tutu I, founder of Ashanti Kingdom. Visit Manhyia Palace, an official seat and residence of the Asantehene. Learn about the history of the Ashanti Kingdom including the royal lineage, rituals and the struggles with the British forces in the colonial days. Continue to Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site to see where slave captives were made to take their last bath before transported to the America’s.

Day 8 : Kakum National Park, Crocodile Pond, Stingless Bees, Cape Coast Castle & Elmina Castle

Morning visit to Kakum National Park, a tropical rain forest of an area of about 375 square kilometers notable for nature and wildlife. Hike the Canopy Walkway suspended between 11-40 meters high above sea level and 350 meters long. Experience nature and the beautiful view of the forest in a secured series of nets and wires. Visit Hans Botel to see crocodiles, stingless bees and birds. Continue to Elmina Castle, an oldest colonial building in the Sub-Saharan African, built by the Portuguese in 1482. Tour the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the largest slave-holding sites during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

Day 9 : Nzulezu Stilt Village, Fort Apollonia.
