Itinerary
Day 1 : Scarborough
Scarborough coach trips are one of the best ways to enjoy one of Yorkshire’s premier seaside resorts, with its colourful seafront, bustling promenade, sandy beaches and beautiful gardens. This is a fantastic destination for a coach break, at any time of the year.
Scarborough offers a fantastic range of attractions and activities for all ages on a coach holiday. Explore Scarborough Castle, a 12th-century Roman ruin, dominating the resort headland. Discover the secrets of the underwater world at the Sea Life Centre, relax at the beautifully oriental-themed Peasholm offering a beautiful system of streams and waterfalls, mini bridges and mystical gardens park, or take a trip on one of the county’s oldest miniature seaside railways.
The Scarborough seafront is split into two lovely beach bays, on the north and south, linked with Scarborough's historic Victorian architecture. The South Bay is a great place to check out on a coach tour with its bustling seaside entertainment, whilst the quieter North Bay is ideal for taking a relaxing stroll.
Day 2 : Goathland
The pretty village of Goathland is hidden away in the stunning North York Moors National Park, a region comprising over 1,400 miles of natural beauty. The village has attracted visitors since the 19th century, but Goathland’s popularity has soared since its appearance as Aidensfield in the hit TV series Heartbeat and its role in the Harry Potter films. It is also home to a charming heritage train station on the steam-operated North Yorkshire Moors Railway line.
Day 3 : Beverley
The charming market town of Beverley is one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets, boasting quaint courtyards, cobbled streets and historic buildings. The lovely 13th-century Minster is well worth a visit, renowned for its medieval stone carvings and pretty stained glass, and there is also a range of lovely boutiques, cafés and pubs for you to enjoy.
