Tour Overview

The highlights of the beautiful heart of England await on this lovely getaway! We visit Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, with its theatres and timber-framed buildings, and also spend time in the charming town of Market Bosworth, famous for its role in the Wars of the Roses. There’s plenty of time to relax and enjoy the fabulous bar offer at our hotel too, housed in a 17th-century mansion and featuring a fantastic leisure club.

We visit the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Forever associated with William Shakespeare, fans of the world’s most celebrated writer can see the house in which he was born. Wander the riverside gardens or discover the town’s venues including the Swan Theatre, home of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Market Bosworth

Following breakfast at the hotel, we check out and make our way to the pretty town of Market Bosworth. With its picturesque Georgian architecture and cobbled main square, it’s a lovely place to enjoy a stroll before tucking into a local treat in one of the charming cafés. The White Boar Inn is also worth a visit, where Richard III spent the night before the Battle of Bosworth, and you can learn more about the town’s role in the Wars of the Roses at the award-winning Bosworth Battlefield Visitor Centre.

Day 2 : Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford-upon-Avon is a historic market town in Warwickshire situated on the banks of the River Avon and a popular tourist destination attracting over three million visitors a year. With its beautiful surroundings it’s not hard to see why it’s such a hit with coach trip visitors.


Best known for being the birthplace of the poet and playwright William Shakespeare and home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford plays host to a rich programme of events and activities from festivals and music in the park to river racing and cruises.
