Itinerary
Day 1 : Chester
Situated on the picturesque River Dee and surrounded by a two mile ring of Roman Walls, Chester is a medieval city and a top coach holiday destination, boasting the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain.
You can’t go wrong when choosing Chester with plenty to see and do in the area.
Day 2 : Llangollen
Located on the banks of the River Dee and surrounded by rolling Welsh hills, Llangollen is a picturesque little town that’s brimming with things to do.
Dating back to the 7th century, the vibrant town is part of an eleven mile stretch of canal which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the town you will find plenty of quirky boutiques and independent shops, plus stunning waterside walks and exquisite surrounding countryside, best viewed from a steam train or horse pulled canal trip.
Day 3 : Horseshoe Pass
Soak up the unspoilt natural beauty of the Welsh mountains as you travel over the famous Horseshoe Pass, one of the most scenic drives in the country.
Watch the ever-changing landscape unfold before your very eyes as you meander over mountains and through the rolling Welsh hills.
