The Highlight of Our Trip

29-Feb-2020

We highly recommend Morocco Private Tours as a company and a big part of the reason why is our driver and tour guide Ismail. From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable, and this remained the same all throughout our trip. He is one of the most gracious, patient, and kind-hearted people we met in Morocco, and he made our trip so memorable and enjoyable. We did the 3 day tour from Marrakech to Fes. From taking us to places and sites off-the-beaten path, to taking our pictures, and being accommodating, Ismail was the best tour guide and driver we could have asked for. At every place that we went to, Ismail had a great relationship with the locals, which speaks to his experience as a tour guide, but also his friendliness and camaraderie with people in general. It felt like we were longtime friends and he was showing us the favourite parts of his country. With Ismail, you are definitely in good hands. The time that we were sightseeing with Ismail was one of the best parts of our trip, and we have him to thank for that. As for driving, Ismail was an absolute pro. He is such a careful and conscientious driver, and you could definitely tell he takes safety seriously. I recall that we had to drive in the darkness at night, along winding roads off of a mountainside; Ismail handled these tough drives extremely well, and we always felt safe with him. Long car rides can be tough, but the car itself and the drive from place to place were always comfortable, with Ismail at the wheel and the driver's seat. He also takes breaks in between driving, which is important (and also provides picture-taking opportunities). Our tour included Aït Benhaddou, a short stop at the Atlas Studios but we didn't have time or desire to take a tour inside, a visit to a Kasbah to see how the families lived and worked, a stop in the Dades Gorges, touring an irrigation system to see how water was transported from the mountains, camel ride, beautiful desert camp, a stop in Ifrane, a stop to see and feed wild monkeys and dropped us safely to our riad in Fes. All in all, we 100% recommend Ismail and this Morocco Private Tours. Your trip will be so much better and more exciting if you book with them. You are missing out if you don’t. We chose this company due to the excellent reviews and the the price for a private tour was excellent. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for the hospitality and for providing us with the experiences that we had on this tour.

Desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

04-May-2021

Really enjoyed this tour as it took us into the Atlas Mountains and then south to the Sahara; vastly different terrain every day. Ismail, our guide was very knowledgeable about the city’s & the regional cultures, so we learnt a lot along the way. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see more than just the cities of Morocco.

Great Desert tour

12-May-2021

Intrepid offer a good inclusive package, with options to do things outside the organised part of the trip. Gives people the opportunity to customise their experience. It's what I look for.
