Breakfast at your hotel then start your guided tour in Cairo with your private guide starting with The Grand Egyptian Museum which is the world's largest Archaeological Museum dedicated to a single civilization. The collection consisting of King Tutankhamun's tomb and tens of thousands of other rare and unique archaeological finds has found a new home in a museum built on the plateau of the pyramids of Giza. The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is one of the mega national projects that is considered to be a great addition to Egyptian tourism and international cultural and media tourism. It reflects the extent of Egyptian international cooperation, as it is considered one of the largest civilizational and archaeological projects in the world, and the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization, which is the ancient Egyptian civilization.
After that enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant then move to the Citadel of Salah El Din to visit the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammed Ali the most famous landmark of Cairo. The mosque was built in the Turkish style that consists of an open court and prayer hall. The prayer hall is a square space that is surmounted by a large central dome surrounded by four semi-domes and four shallow domes in the corners.
There are two minibars (pulpits) inside the mosque. The original of the two is made of wood decorated in green. The other was a later addition made of marble. The outer open court contains a copper clock tower, which was gifted to Muhammad Ali Pasha by Louis Philippe of France in 1262 AH/1845 AD. Muhammad Ali Pasha reciprocated the gesture with an obelisk of Ramesses II’s (c.1279–1213 BC) that stood in front of Luxor Temple. Today, it stands in the Place de la Concorde Square, Paris.

Day 4 : Cruising the Nile From Aswan - From Aswan to Cairo by Flight
