Tour Overview
One of the oldest in Europe, Strasbourg Christmas Market, this festive holiday is a real treat. Enjoy time in the ’Capital of Christmas’ and its Alsatian spirit, there’s a fantastic French atmosphere with a hint of the famous German influence of its close neighbour. And, as you step across the border, you’ll really get to enjoy some authentic German Christmas markets. Venturing into the Black Forest, famous of course, for its gâteau, before the festivities really step in. Relish the famous Freiburg Christmas Market before heading back over the border for a feast of festivities in France as we also take in the yuletide offerings of Metz, and have the opportunity to visit Colmar.

The charming old town is dominated by its Gothic Munster the towering spire of which is the landmark of the city. The town centre is noted for its pretty squares and romantic lanes and alongside some of the cobbled streets run a series of narrow streams called the Bachle.
