Today, we enjoy a tour through the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. A highlight is the delightful market town of Ross-on-Wye, often referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Wye Valley’. As we navigate its scenic streets, you'll come across beautifully maintained half-timbered houses, charming boutiques, and age-old pubs.
Our tour proceeds to Monmouth, the UK's first official Bee Town, with the chance to take in the panoramic views from the renowned Symonds Yat Viewpoint.
Day 3 Morning In Hereford & Afternoon At Leisure

Today, we journey to the town of Hereford and enjoy some free time. The cathedral, a centrepiece of the town, shelters the Mappa Mundi, an ancient map of the world, and boasts the world's most extensive surviving Chained Library. The picturesque streets are lined with well-preserved half-timbered houses, quaint shops, and traditional pubs.
We later return to Holme Lacy with the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the activities and entertainment of our wonderful Warner hotel. Make the most of the programme*, leisure facilities, and gardens, as well as the fantastic lake views from the terrace.
Day 4 Worcester
Location: Worcester
Today, we visit Worcester, a historic city gracefully positioned on the banks of the River Severn. At its heart is the magnificent Worcester Cathedral, a magnificent example of English architecture that dominates the cityscape. The streets are lined with Georgian and Victorian-style buildings, with particular highlights including the elegant Guildhall and the Commandery. The city’s oldest inn, the Cardinal’s Hat, is considered a local landmark with its imposing red brick façade and traditional interior – the perfect place for a well-deserved drink!
