Sri Lanka Experience

Third tour with Intro Travel and it is definitely the best (which is no mean feat against such incredible competition!) The tour experience is the perfect blend between exploration and relaxation. During week one, you explore Buddhist temples, tea plantations and hike to reach unreal views. Week two is all about stunning beaches, infinity pools and elephant spotting. It was an absolute dream. The accommodation is some of the best Intro Travel has to offer; the hotel in Unuwatuna was my personal favourite, offering the most incredible service (and that breakfast!!). The food throughout the entire trip was out of this world! Last but not least was our leader, Roisin. The best leader I have had on any trip - full of energy, sass and ready to take charge of any situation with the locals. She and the rest of the 5th April group have made the past two weeks unforgettable - if you don't book this you're missing out!

Really enjoyable experience with Intro, everything was very well organised and ran smoothly. I loved not having anything to organise or worry about, as it was all done for us. Fantastic experience.

Excellent tour in an amazing location. Such a great mix of Sri Lankan culture and relaxation by the beach and pool. Food was incredible with lots of variety. The entire tour and all activities were all organised extremely well and always ran smoothly. Our group leader Stuart was amazing and helped to cater for my peanut allergy throughout the entire trip. He was so well organised, made everyone feel a part of the group the entire tour and his connections with the locals added even more to the experience. Would definitely recommend!

The Sri Lanka tour was amazing! It was so well organised and all of the accommodation was fab. The food was unique and really tasty. All our buses and transport was all on time. All in All, the Sir Lanka experience is a great way to see Sir Lanka and uncover it’s hidden beauty. Our guy was a 10/10 and showed all the best places. I really recommend you all go on this tour!

Our trip guide Dave was there as soon as we got off the plane, he was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic the whole time! All of our accommodations were outstanding! The itinerary of this tour was designed perfectly. I really enjoyed teaching monks English, hammocking on the beach, eating BBQs, and taking a scenic train ride through a tea plantation. This will be my first of many trips with Intro Travel!

This was an unforgettable adventure! There was a great balance between learning about the culture and still getting to have fun and relax. I can honestly say this was my favourite holiday so far. There was me thinking Machu Picchu was unbeatable :) Our guide was lovely from the moment we met him, he was really approachable and easy to chat with. We were able to have our input and he always ensured we were having fun. Sri Lanka in itself... well all I can say is go explore. It's a beautiful destination where people wear their hearts on their sleeves and have the biggest smiles I have seen so far ♡

Best trip by far! Amazing journey with very nice people. Our leader Lyndsay made everything super easy so we didn’t have to worry at all about anything. It has a perfect combination of nature sightseeing, cultural awareness and chilling next to the gorgeous beaches. I would like to highlight the accommodation and the food. The places we were staying to were so unique and unforgettable. Even when we didn’t have included lunch or dinner we were always receiving a lot of recommendation where to go and what to eat. Can recommend it for sure!

Perfect balance between adventure, culture, and free time! My favourite experience of the trip was visiting the monks. Rosin was the best group leader I've ever had on a tour! She was so energetic and made all 12 days incredibly exciting. She really made an effort to get to know each of us individually. This trip was perfect for me because I would not have been able to book and plan something like this myself! I 100% recommend this trip!!

I have just finished the Sri Lanka Experience - 12 Days tour with INTRO Travel and I had the BEST time. This was my first time doing a group tour holiday or travelling to an Asian country so I had my reservations and worries about the trip before going but the trip exceeded all my expectations and more. The accommodations and food were all amazing. We tried different accommodations from glamping to beach side resorts but all were clean and high quality - and provided a great stay. I got to try all the local cuisine I could possibly want to try and more. The activities were amazing and varied from hiking to surfing to spice gardens to monasteries - I truly felt like I experienced all of what Sri Lanka had to offer. There wasn't a single experience I didn't enjoy - even travelling between places in the air-coned coach was enjoyable with good music and views! My tour guide was Ethan Sloan and he was AMAZING. From the moment I got off the plane in Sri Lanaka to the moment I landed back in London he was caring, considerate, helpful and friendly. He was a great tour guide and showed a high level of commitment to the job: he always wanted to make sure everyone was okay, having fun and always had helpful recommendations and tips for things to do and try in our spare time. He was an important factor as to why the trip went so smoothly and was so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Such a beautiful country! Our group leader Roisin was incredible! She made sure the whole trip was running as smoothly as possible 24/7. She was even helpful in capturing the perfect Instagram shots! This tour was totally worth it!
