At Maritiman, you can explore and learn about U-boats, destroyers, mine-layers and fireboats. Additionally, Universeum allows you to experience the Ocean, the Rain Forest and Space all in one day. The city also boasts museums, cafes and shopping opportunities.

Day 4: Gothernburg – Malmo (B/-/-)
Location: Malmo
Accommodation Name: hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast
In the morning after breakfast, as you leave Gothenburg, we recommend visiting the Gunnebo House, one of Swedens most beautiful neoclassical estates situated between two lakes, Radasjon and Stensjon, in the Municipal of Molndal, just south of Gothenburg. Continue south along the West Swedish coastline. If time permits, detour to the ancient university city of Lund, about 1000 years old and one of the oldest cities in Sweden. The University was founded in 1658 and has become a leading university in Sweden and Scandinavia. Also, it is possible to cross the bridge to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, located just on the other side of the narrow Øresund Belt. In the afternoon you will arrive in Malmo, a charming city where we recommend a visit to Malmohus Castle which has been housing museum collections since 1926. In 1434 King Erik VII of Denmark had the castle of Myntergaarden built where the Malmohus Castle stands today. Also, remember to just enjoy the atmosphere of this historic city.

By the harbor, you can see a replica of Axel Olsson's statue depicting Karl-Oskar and Kristina, the central characters of Vilhelm Moberg's famous novels, gazing out over the sea before embarking on their adventure. Just west of Vaxjo, you will reach the \"Kingdom of Crystal,\" where you can visit one or two of the renowned glass factories. Experience the art of glassblowing and search for bargains in the glass shops. Continue to Kalmar, famous for its castle, which long served as the guardian of Sweden's southern frontier.

Day 6: Kalmar - Stockholm (B/-/-)
Location: Stockholm
Accommodation Name: hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast
This morning after breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore Kalmar, once one of the most important towns in the North. We recommend spending some time here before continuing back to Stockholm. The city's historical past is deeply ingrained in its character. Kalmar Castle, the Old Town and Kvarnholmen reflect the stories of mighty kings and queens as well as commoners. Traces of the past are evident in the architecture, cultural artifacts, art and the well-worn cobblestones that pave the streets. Drive along the eastern coastline, passing through Vastervik, Norrkoping and Sodertalje as you arrive in Stockholm by late afternoon.
