After breakfast, depart for Riga, en-route to visit the Hill of Crosses, the most important center of pilgrimage in Lithuania. The site is situated at the top of a hill with thousands of different sizes and materials made crosses representing the Lithuanian national identity. Pope John Paul II visited the Hill of Crosses, declaring it a place for hope, peace, love, and sacrifice. After walking around the site, you will be taken to Rundale Castle, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Follow a guided tour of the palace and the gorgeous gardens before to reach Riga later in the afternoon, check-in at the hotel. Evening at your leisure.Â

The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés, and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church a Russian Orthodox church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral before descending to the Lower Old Town where youll see the medieval Town Hall and bustling Town Hall Square. The afternoon offers plenty of opportunities to discover on your own. Savor the unique atmosphere and wander the narrow alleys filled with cafes, restaurants and inviting shops and galleries.
