Set out to explore The Land of the Two Holy Mosques with this 10-day small-group tour of Saudi Arabia! Your journey will begin in Riyadh, the cultural capital of Saudi Arabia known for its spectacular skyscrapers, world-class shopping malls, and historic national museums. Visit the Murabba Palace, originally built as a private residence for the Saudi King, and see the Masmak Fort, dating back to 1865 AD. Next, you will take the train to Hail, situated at the very foot of the Shammar Mountains. Explore Hail with its boundless beauty and warm hospitality, and visit the Aarif Fort, a captivating castle built with mud and clay. From there you will travel to Jubbah, a beautiful oasis believed to be the remains of an ancient lake, before you visit Al-Ula, where you can see fascinating rock formations and artistic masterpieces. Explore Madain Saleh, also known as Hegra, the first World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia. From there you will travel to the holy city of Medina, where you will explore the story of Islam and the prophets biography. Welcome to Saudi Arabia! Upon arrival at the Riyadh International Airport, prepare for a meet and greet followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Riyadh (B/-/-)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a journey through Old Riyadhs rich history and vibrant culture. Start your day with a visit to Dirah Souq, renowned for its collection of antique carpets and traditional Saudi artifacts. Wander through the bustling market, enveloped by the exotic scents of sandalwood and other oriental fragrances. Next, continue your exploration at Masmak Fort, a historic fortress constructed in 1895 AD during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid. This stronghold holds significant importance in Saudi history, notably for its capture by King Abdulaziz in 1902, marking a pivotal moment in the establishment of the modern Saudi state. Afterwards, take some leisure time to enjoy lunch before heading approximately 30 minutes away to Ad-Diriyah, situated along the banks of Wadi Hanifah. Ad-Diriyah served as the capital of Najd from the 15th to the 18th centuries and is renowned for its distinctive Najdi architecture. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, it stood as a critical junction on historic trade and pilgrimage routes. Explore the architectural marvels of Ad-Diriyah, immersing yourself in its storied past and cultural heritage. Return to downtown Riyadh in the evening, where you can witness firsthand the city's rapid development as it aims to become the largest metropolis in the Middle East within the next decade. After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, youll head to Riyadh airport depending on your flight time for your journey to Al Ula. Upon arrival at Al Ula airport, our team will assist with visa and immigration formalities before escorting you to the city in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Begin your exploration with the AlUla Old Town Tour, led by an experienced Rawi guide. Delve into the rich history of Al Ulas Old Town, inhabited from before the 12th century until the early 1980s, offering unique oral histories and architectural remnants. Wander through the maze of 900 houses, 500 shops, and 5 town squares, where original stone and mudbrick buildings still stand. Discover Al Ula Castle, dating back to the 10th century, and learn about the settlers, pilgrims, and their lives. Begin at Hegra, Saudi Arabias first UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest preserved Nabataean civilization site south of Petra. Here, explore more than 110 tombs carved into colossal rock formations, offering a window into the culture, traditions, and history of its inhabitants. After leisurely lunch, delve into the fascinating civilizations of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms, which have left enduring marks on Al Ula. Discover their ruins and then travel a short distance to Jabal Ikmah, an open-air gallery adorned with inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs set amidst a stunning desert canyon. Upon arrival at Jeddah airport, our representative will be there to greet you and accompany you to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Our journey starts with a captivating visit to Old Jeddah, where our guide will regale you with fascinating stories about the city and its surroundings. Immerse yourself in a delightful walking tour through Al-Balad, the historic heart of Jeddah. This tour will unveil hidden gems of the Old Market, secret galleries, and local culinary delights cherished by the locals. Al-Balad, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a glimpse into its rich history with visits to notable landmarks such as the exterior of Beit Nassif, a magnificent five-story structure dating back to the mid-1800s, blending traditional architecture with modern influences. What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
