This 10-day tour of Croatia will take you through the most beautiful islands in the Balkans. Your journey will begin in Split, a fascinating city situated on the Dalmatian Coast, home to Diocletian's Palace, a well-preserved monument of Roman architecture dating back to 305 AD. This is the perfect place to get a taste of the day-to-day life in Dalmatia, which blends Croatian traditions with modernity. From there you will set sail to Brac, the third-largest island in the Adriatic Sea. You can climb up Vidova Gora, the highest peak in the Adriatic, or lay back on Zlatni Rat, one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Take the ferry to Hvar, the most popular island in Croatia, known for its exhilarating nightlife scene. Explore Hvar Town, known for its beautiful lavender fields and lush green vineyards, one of the most important wine-making centers in Croatia. Finally, you will travel to Trogir, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe, and a treasure trove of Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance buildings. Visit the St. Lawrence Cathedral, the famous main portal made by Master Radovan, and see the Cipiko Palace, dating back to the 15th century, before your tour of Croatia comes to an end!

Day 1: Split Arrival
Welcome to Croatia! Upon arrival at the Split Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure – you can set out to get a taste of the daily life in Dalmatia. Founded as a Greek Colony, Split became a permanent settlement in 650 AD and has been ruled by Romans, Byzantines, and Venetians, and Italian, French, and Austrian Rulers, each leaving an indelible mark on its history and culture.

Day 2: Split — Island Brac (B/-/-)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Port in Split to board your ferry ride to Supetar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Bol on the Island of Brac. Small stone houses and beautiful winding streets, dotted with pink and purple Germaniums, are commonplace in Bol. The town is best known for Zlatini Rat — a seductive pebbly beach that stretches into the sea and boasts the perfect conditions for swimmers and windsurfers in the summer.

Day 3: Island Brac (B/-/-)
Spend the day at leisure to explore Brac at your own pace. As the third-largest island in the Adriatic, Brac is also home to the highest peak in the Adriatic Sea – the Vidova Gora. You can climb up the 778-meter peak to uncover panoramic views of the town of Bol and its famous beach. The area also offers magnificent views of the surrounding islands of Hvar, Vis, Korcula, and the Peljesac Peninsula. For a leisurely day, you can make your way inland to visit the village of Skrip, the oldest settlement on the island. Visit the local museum to get a taste of the islands history. You can also visit the Sculpting Academy in Pucisca – one of the few stone masonry schools in Europe and a place of the finest quality craftsmanship.

Day 4: Island Brac (B/-/-)
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will set off to discover the beauty of Brac at your own pace. Stroll through the area to see the most beautiful hidden spots on the island. A dirt road through a beautiful black pine forest will take you to a rare natural phenomenon known as Trolokve – three natural pools of rainwater where wild animals come to drink. If you are lucky, you may be able to see them. You can also visit Pustinja Blaca – the 16th century Blaca Monastery is in the middle of nowhere. The impressive buildings in the middle of the barren land have been converted into a museum, where the last inhabitant monk here passed away over 50 years ago.

Day 5: Island Brac (B/-/-)
Spend your day lazing around the famous beach of Zlatni Rat – one of the finest beaches in Europe. You can also make your way through the winding streets of Bol, searching for little gems in its historic buildings, many of which have several stories to share.

Day 6: Island Brac — Island Hvar (B/-/-)
After a delicious breakfast, you will depart your hotel and set off to explore the Island of Hvar – the most popular tourist destination in Croatia and the sunniest spot in the country. Hvar is one of the two most famous wine-making centers in Croatia. It is often referred to as the “Island of Lavender” due to the extensive areas that cultivate lavender – the regions most important crop. Upon arrival in Hvar, you will transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening free to leisure to get a taste of the towns lively nightlife. Its lively bars have attracted Prince Harry, Beyonce, and many other celebrities.

Day 7: Island Hvar (B/-/-)
Today you will explore Hvar City – the oldest tourist center in Dalmatia, and a treasure trove of cultural and historical monuments. The central square of Hvar is one of the largest in Croatia. The town developed around this square starting in the 13th Century in the north, encircling it to the south by the later parts of the 15th Century. Familiarize yourself with the incredible landmarks in the area, between the 17th Century Theater, potentially the first civic theater in Europe, the 13th Century Arsenal, the Cathedral of St Stephen, and the small castle at the top of the hill. The architectural and historical wealth of the town will leave any visitor breathless. You can also visit the Franciscan Monastery, which is known for its rich art collection, including Ingolis “Last Supper”.

Day 8: Island Hvar — Trogir (B/-/-)
After breakfast, it will be time to bid farewell to Hvar and set off to explore Trogir – a fascinating historic town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by Medieval walls, this small town boasts a profuse collection of Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance buildings from the 13th-15th Century, while the history of the town dates back to 300 BC. Visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with the famous main portal made by Master Radovan, the 15th Century Town Hall, the 15th Century Cipiko Palace, and the 11th Century Benedictine Monastery.

Day 9: Trogir — Split — (B/-/-)
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Later, in time, you will transfer to the Split International Airport for your flight back home.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
