Day 2: Dubai – City Tour – Desert Safari With Bbq (B/-/D)

After breakfast, you will depart for a half-day guided tour of Dubai. You will get the opportunity to explore the spectacular and lively metropolis of Dubai. The city, developed from a small fishing village at the Dubai Creek, presents itself nowadays as a glamorous metropolis on the Arabian Gulf. The distinctive skyscrapers and gigantic shopping malls will impress each and every visitor. You will start with the Atlantis hotel, located at the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. After that, enjoy a photo stop at the Burj Al Arab hotel and continue to see the Jumeirah area, where you can take some incredible photos of the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. Built-in the medieval Fatimid tradition, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. Then, you will proceed to Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai. Study everything about the local history and geography of the city. Visit the Al Shindagha Museum. Another highlight will follow: you will use the local water taxis, known as “Abras”, to cross the Dubai Creek. Take in the spectacular views of the city while heading towards the district of Deira. Here, you will be enchanted by the wide variety of exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. Take the opportunity to snatch a unique and affordable souvenir when you visit the adjacent Gold Souk. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet. In the afternoon, you will join a Desert Safari, after settling down in the 4WD vehicles. The jeeps will speed through the desert of the golden sand dunes. The dune bashing or desert driving will continue with the thrill of going up and down the dunes, provoking many shrieks and laughter that is full of excitement. The final leg of this program will take us to the main campsite. This will be the highlight of your trip. After seeing a memorable sight, the true Arabian sunset with its glory and magic, a delicious BBQ Dinner will be prepared on open fires with a variety of beverages available. This morning you will head on a tour of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. This comprehensive tour will give you the perfect introduction to the capital of the UAE and the island on which it stands. The name Abu Dhabi means: “Father of the Gazelle”. We will start at the famous Yas Island which houses the FORMULA 1 YAS circuit and the first attraction Ferrari Park in the world. This is an impressive attraction park – the largest covered air-conditioned park in the world with a huge RED FERRARI sign as a landmark. You will then continue to see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques on the planet, which is able to accommodate more than 30,000 worshipers. The beautiful Mosque is completely cladded in marble and features intricate Islamic decoration and carvings as well as extensive landscaping. Then you will make your way toward Abu Dhabis downtown area. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch in the city. After lunch, you will visit the Heritage Village, which houses a small museum and depicts the traditional daily activities of the Arab community prior to the discovery of oil. You will drive along the spectacular Corniche, past gleaming white mosques, glass-clad offices, and elegant high-rise apartments to the tip of the breakwater to see a spectacular view of the citys magnificent skyline. You will visit the QASR AL HOSN Fort, the palace of traditions. Then you will drive through the famous giant Saadiyat Island project where the museums are being built to complete the image of Abu Dhabi as a cultural city. In the late afternoon, you will visit the Louvre Museum. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art and civilization museum, situated in the Saadiyat Island Cultural District. Finally, after a long day of adventures, you will check in to your hotel in Abu Dhabi, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Abu Dhabi – Al Ain (B/L/D)

After breakfast you will leave Abu Dhabi in the morning and travel to Al Ain, which is located in the Hajjar Mountains. It is one of the oldest cities in the UAE and is rich in traditions. For thousands of years, the oasis of Al Ain has served as an important caravan stop on the ancient trade routes across Arabia. You will then continue to Jebel Hafeet for a fantastic photo stop. From there, enjoy lunch in the city. In the afternoon, you will visit the camel market, the largest in the UAE. Then you will also see the Jahili Fort, one of the largest castles in Al Ain, which is a best-in-class example of Islamic military architecture locally. From there you shall visit the Al Ain Palace. This is one of the most important cultural places in the city of Al Ain. It is a direct testimony to the period of rule of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in Al Ain and his original place of residence there. The palace is also the birthplace of HH Sheikh Mohamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Later, proceed to visit Qasr AL Muwaiji, where you will learn everything about the history of the region. Towards the end of the afternoon, you will check in to your hotel in Al Ain. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 5: Al Ain – Sharjah – Dubai (B/L/D)

This morning you will step back in time with a trip to the Hili Gardens, famous for the archaeological excavations dating to the third millennium B.C. Then you will continue your journey towards Dubai and Sharjah, which you will reach after two hours, in time to head on a half-day Sharjah tour. This route will take us to Sharjah, the cultural capital and the “Pearl of the Gulf”. You will pass by the King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Emirates. From there, you shall pass by the renovated Fort of Sharjah, the former residence of the ruling family. Discover the Sharjah Heritage Museum which conserves and displays the rich traditional customs and culture of Sharjah as a source of pride and inspiration to Emiratis and visitors in the UAE. Embark on a journey of discovery through Sharjah's rich and diverse heritage and unravel traditions that have endured the test of time. You will see handcrafted works of art and objects that date back to a time when local people relied solely on fishing and pearling. Trace the development of education, currency, and the early postal system. You will learn about the traditional skills and crafts relating to jewelry, costumes, herbal medicines, music, and folklore. After the visit, you will have time to explore the colorful Souk Al Arsa, set up in a traditional way. You will also get an opportunity to see how the traditional Omani Halwa (sweet) is made in one of the shops in Souk Al Arsa. Before returning to Dubai, take some time to head on a quick stroll at the Blue Souk – a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry, and handicrafts. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant where you will discover the real Bedouin meal of MANDI, a succulent recipe of meats or fish with marvelous spices from this part of the world. After the tour, we return to Dubai towards the “Dubai Mall” and Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower and the centerpiece of the Gulf region's most prestigious urban development to date. Burj Dubai will radiate out in a series of ellipses from the sky-breaking tower encompassing residential, commercial, hotel, entertainment, and the world's largest shopping mall “Dubai Mall”. Today, you will go on a cruise through the waters of the Indian Ocean. Musandam is a spot where the waters of the “Gulf of Oman” are the gateway to the natural sea treasures. The Musandam Peninsula is the northernmost part of Oman, and it has one of the most rugged, isolated, and beautiful coastlines in the world. The towering Hajar Mountains rise directly out of the sea creating spectacular fjords-like scenery, providing an awe-inspiring backdrop for the caves, bays, and pebble beaches along the coast. The sheltered bays also offer a safe environment for snorkelers and non-divers to explore. Marine life in the Gulf of Oman is rich in diversity with fish, corals, turtles, and invertebrates. You will take a dhow cruise trip through the fjords of Musandam that will offer you incredible insight into this fantastic landscape, that guarantees an ambience of peace and tranquillity. There will also be a possibility to see dolphins along the cruise. Enjoy lunch on board. This traditional type of dhow is equipped with comfortable seats, cushions, and carpets.
