Tour Overview
Join us, on our Mykonos cruise for a week filled with onboard music, drinks & dancing, an onshore pub crawl and even a toga party (you are in Greece afterall!). After boarding in Laurium, close to Athens you'll be welcomed onboard by the crew and meet your fellow travellers. In the evening you'll have the choice of staying onboard or exploring Lauriums famous bar strip. Leaving the mainland behind we make stops in Kea and Siros, enjoying music whilst sailing, a cove party on Kea and a DJ party whilst on Siros. Our next stop is the star of the show, you guessed it, Mykonos! You'll have plenty of time to explore Mykonos, visit the world famous clubs and party onboard whilst sailing around the island. As we change course and head back to Athens, we'll make a final stop at Kolona beach on Kythnos for a day of relaxation. It is important to note that due to the party style of this trip, it is most suited to those aged between 18 and 35 years of age. Day 1 : The Party Begins In Laurium
Location: Athens
Accommodation Name: On board gulet

The Gulet will be available for boarding from 2pm today. We will provide joining instructions for where to find the boat in Laurium, which is a short distance from Athens. After boarding and meeting the crew and your fellow travellers, you can choose to remain onboard for the evening or head out for drinks on the famous Laurium bar strip.
Day 2 : Makronisos And Kea Cove Party
Location: Makronisos, Kéa

As we leave the mainland today, we'll enjoy our first onboard brunch as we sail to Kea's Island complex, all the while accompanied by great music of course.
Along the way, we'll make a stop at Makronisos where you'll be able to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean.
Once we reach Kea, our time here will include our first Cove Party, although you'll also have a chance to explore Vourkari, considered the most beautiful of Kea's villages.
Day 3 : Siros With An Afternoon Dj Party
Location: Syros

After leaving behind Kea, we head to Siros, the capital of the Cyclades group.
The island of Siros is famous for its capital city Ermoupoly, known for its fantastic restaurants and sweet treats such as Loukoumi (Turkish Delight, or should that be Greek Delight?). We have an exciting day lined up for you today, which will kick off with our scheduled daily swim stop, before we give the DJ a chance to do his thing. We'll spend the afternoon enjoying an onboard party with pumping tunes; could there be a better way to spend a summer afternoon in Greece?
Spend the remainder of the day taking a dip in the cool Aegean Sea, or a cocktail on deck.
Day 4 : The Star Of The Show - Mykonos

The day has finally arrived, we're heading to Mykonos.
The stunning beauty of Mykonos will hit you on arrival, with it's cliff top windmills and white washed buildings, the whole vibe of the island is just something else. The islands is packed with famous nightclubs, bars and high end hotels and shops and you'll have the oppotunity to explore it all.
Before we head to the mainland though, we'll take a swim stop in Rhenia, where you can get ready for the next couple of days which will be a combination of on and off boat parties.
Day 5 : Mykonos
Location: Mykonos

On our fifth day, we'll spend the entire day on and around Mykonos (because one night is definitely not enough!).
During the day, we'll party our way around the island, making stops at various coves and beaches. Our day will end at a cave where we'll anchor and spend the night.
Day 6 : Kolona Beach: Kythnos
Location: Kythnos

Sadly, we need to say our goodbyes to Mykonos this morning, as we leave the island.
We'll make a stop to visit Kolona Beach on Kythnos for some much needed down time and sunbathing. The island of Kythnos takes its name from the Greek word 'Kefthemon' which means a dim place to hide - Kythnos was once a popular place for pirates and intruders to hide and this is where the island got its name.
We'll include a couple of additional stops today before spending the night on the shores of Kythnos.
Day 7 : Back To Laurium
Location: Laurium

Our last day of sailing will take us from Kythnos back to our original departure point, Laurium.
We'll arrive back into Laurium in the early afternoon and you have the choice to remain onboard or return to the Laurium Pub Strip for a final night of fun with your new found friends.
Day 8 : Departure Day
Location: Athens
Meals Included: No Meals
Today your Greek island adventure comes to an end. You'll have time to bid farewell to the crew and your fellow travellers. Dismebarkation will take place from 9am in Laurium.

Do I need to pay port charges?
Yes. Please note that port fees are not included in the cost of this trip, these amount to €80.00 per person. This will be collected at the start of your trip.

Gulet cruises and itineraries are subject to alterations while en-route or before departure. These are subject to the final decision of the boat captain and out of our control and may be made at short notice due to weather conditions, the number of other boats in certain bays or other practical reasons. The same overall experience will be maintained.

Tour suitability: It should be noted that our Mykonos Cruise is a party themed cruise, which generally attracts those between the ages of 18 to 35. Is travel insurance compulsory?
Yes! Travel insurance is compulsory on all of our tours and needs to cover personal accident & liability, medical expenses and repatriation, travel delay & abandonment. We also strongly recommend that you take out cover against cancellation and lost/stolen baggage. Personal medical insurance does not normally provide sufficient cover and is generally not suitable for travel on our tours. You will not be able to join your tour if you have not provided us with details of your insurance or if you arrive without cover in place (no refunds will be due in this event).

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
You are always able to change your travel date. However, some charges may apply depending on how long before your departure you make the change. Our flexible booking conditions and reduced charges will apply if you are changing date because of a Covid-19 reason or because your government is advising against travel to your destination. Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?
On most of our group tours, solo travellers may choose to form a temporary 'tour bubble' and share a room with another traveller of the same sex in the group. If a room share is not available then a single room supplement may be payable, with the costs for these kept as low as possible. Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Customers may transfer their booking or any Credit on File to another person who satisfies all the relevant conditions to the tour, provided that we are notified not less than 7 days before departure, and the transferee agrees to these booking conditions and all other terms of the contract between us. The Client and new booker are jointly and severally responsible for any outstanding payments and a transfer administration fee of GBP50 / USD75 / CAD100 / AUD100 / NZD100 / EUR75 / ZAR1000 / INR5000 or GBP100 / USD150 / CAD200 / AUD200 / NZD200 / EUR150 / ZAR2000 / INR10,000 if the transfer is made less than 60 days before departure. Important Note: Certain arrangements may not be amended or transferred after they have been confirmed (for example flight tickets, Gorilla Permits) and any alteration could incur a cancellation and rebooking charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.

Encounters Travel requires a minimum deposit of 150 GBP per person or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 60 days before departure.

We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of encounters travel charges.
Up to 61 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.
At 60 days before tour starts: Forfeit 35% of booking price.
At 41 days before tour starts: Forfeit 70% of booking price.
At 27 days before tour starts: Forfeit 90% of booking price.
At 14 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of booking price.
