This tour far superseded my expectations. I was picked up by a private Egyptologist by private driver in an air conditioned car first thing after breakfast directly from my hotel. I was then taken on a private boat tour on the River Nile, followed by a decision of my own to which museums we were to visit. The vast history I became familiar with through this tour thanks to my very knowledgeable guide was enlightening and exciting not only throughout the museums, but throughout the entire day. His English was perfect and so the vast history was easily understood. On top of his knowledge, was his photography - SO MANY great photos came from this day, more than any other experience I’ve had in Egypt. We got photos others weren’t even permitted to get at the pyramids bc he was smooth with the security. He also knew where to get quality souvenirs for my family, my friends, and myself. Then he even gifted me something I didn’t buy for myself bc that’s just the close friend he became. Camel rides, ATVs adventures, and the beautiful sunset all with the great pyramids of Giza in your background. Really, I couldn’t have been gifted a better guide! Mahmoud Khalefa is THE BEST! Went with Egypt Tours Club and my guide of Youssa. It was a great experience lead by an experienced and passionate guide. As a teacher, I learned a lot from him and he made the experience worthwhile. First time being in Egypt and the sites are amazing! Beyond anything my wife and I could ever imagine. Jimmy, our tour guide, where do we begin? Incredibly knowledgeable about Cario, Sakkara, Giza, the museums: there was nothing Jimmy didn't know it seemed. Jimmy moved at your pace, never overbearing or trying to quickly get through things (except for the Egyptian Museum of Antiquitys. You can spend literally a month in there alone). His driver was always on-time whenever we needed him. It was like he has a six sense. Jimmy's camera skills are top notch as well. Jimmy always went thr extra mile to accommodates us. Completely amazing. Hassan made the experience memorable, interesting, and safe. He was so knowledgeable about literally everything. He knew the right amount of information to give on the tour. The restaurants he took us to were all pretty good. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience we wanted. He took us to the authentic shops. This encounter was very remarkable! Since childhood, I have had a strong desire to see the pyramids, and I am pleased to report that they did not disappoint me in the slightest. The person that led us for the day was Jemmy, and she was exceptional. She has a remarkable depth of knowledge, exhibited a warm and kind demeanor, and proved to be an excellent companion for the whole day. Once we depleted our water supply, she promptly stopped at a vendor and purchased more water for all of us without seeking permission. We completed a 5 day private tour with Egypt Tours Club that included Abu Simbel, private transfer to Luxor, Luxor East and West bank, and Cairo pyramid tour. Unfortunately during the tour we met other couples and fellow travelers on the exact same private tour experience with competitor companies, and we were shocked to find out how much more we had paid in comparison. The price difference was not due to the quality of service, as every other traveler I spoke to raved about how positive and accommodating their experience was. Upon research, all companies also had extremely positive 5 star ratings. For anyone considering a private tour, please also reach out to Egypt Fantastic Tours. Unfortunately my experience with Egypt Tour Club ended extremely negatively. When I shared my honest feedback, they asked me to present proof. I spent time to then detail out how much I was overcharged by, and the response I received back was degrading. They simply thumbs up my response and did not respond further. I paid $409USD over and above a competitor’s with the same 5 star rating.
