Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.

Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 7 days Egypt tour packages. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.

Transfer to your Nile cruise ship.

Enjoy a free morning onboard your Nile cruise ship or explore the city of Aswan on your own.

In the afternoon the ship sails down to Kom Ombo where you can visit the temple which the Egyptians dedicated it to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. At the end of your tour, you will have a short visit to the Mummified Crocodile Museum then the ship will proceed down to Edfu, where it will dock.

Overnight in Edfu.

You will wake up on the hustle and bustle of the horse carriages waiting to transfer you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After the tour of the temple, the cruise will set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna.
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Overnight is in Luxor.

Disembarkation. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo airport to your hotel. Free time.

From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
