Day 2 : Calgary — Lake Louise — Moraine Lake

Your journey to the Canadian Rockies National Park will officially begin this morning at the designated meeting time with your tour guide. Today, we will bid farewell to the bustling city of Calgary, taking the famous Trans-Canada Highway 1. Surrounded by unique landscapes, we will head west into the spine of North America—the Rocky Mountains.
Alongthe way, we will pass through vast stretches of ranches with a considerable number of cattle roaming about. This is the birthplace of Canada's most famous AAA beef. The rolling hills are a geological treasure, and as the mountains gradually appear before us, it marks the beginning of the highlight of our trip—the Canadian Rockies National Park.
Our first stop today will be the legendary Castle Mountain. Then, we will head to the largest ski resort in the Rockies—Lake Louise Ski Resort—where you will take a gondola ride for a panoramic view of the gem of the Rockies, Lake Louise, nestled between the mountains. We will also take you to experience the seasonal spectacle of Moraine Lake. Surrounded by the Valley of the Ten Peaks, you can enjoy the tranquility of the breeze by the lake. Next, we will visit the famous Lake Louise and check into the lakeside Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Before enjoying a specially arranged gourmet dinner, you can freely stroll alongthe lakeside and experience the stunning scenery. At night, you'll fall asleep accompanied by the peaceful lake and mountain views.

Its waters are the most amazing color, a vivid shade of turquoise that changes in intensity through the summer as the glacier melt. Set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal. (stop for about 60 minutes)

Early risers will have the opportunity to witness the first rays of sunlight at dawn, casting a brilliant golden glow over the mountains surrounding the lake. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will have free time in the morning to choose from several activities: you can stroll along the lakeshore, take a boat ride to explore the legendary scenery, or choose one of the famous hiking trails to follow. Alternatively, you may visit the mountaintop tea house to enjoy a panoramic view of the area.
In the afternoon, your guide will take you to Yoho National Park, which, though small in size, is closely tied to the establishment of the park. The tour includes a visit to the Spiral Tunnels, a 19th-century engineering marvel. Detailed signs on-site will give you a deep appreciation of the challenges faced during construction. Next, we will visit Emerald Lake, named for its vivid green waters. The wooden cabins along the lakeshore, reflected in the emerald waters, make this a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, followed by Natural Bridge.
Tonight, we will arrange a gourmet dinner prepared by star chefs at the hotel restaurant, allowing you to savor local delicacies.

【Spiral Tunnel】
It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line to be at or below 2.2%. The current two spiral tunnels where the railroad forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain were completed in 1909. Start your journey to Famous Canadian Rockies from Calgary and you will visit the Banff National Park, Canada's first national park.
First, we will take a gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain, where you’ll be surrounded by mountain ranges with shimmering waters in the distance.
We will also visit Bow Falls, made famous by the movie River of No Return, as well as Surprise Corner, the best spot to photograph the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
