It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line to be at or below 2.2%. The current two spiral tunnels where the railroad forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain were completed in 1909. (pass through)

【Emerald Lake】
Name comes from her green water color. (stop for about 20 minutes)

Enjoy

25-Jul-2024

The weather in the mountains can change quite drastically, so I recommend checking the weather forecast before departure. It was warmer in Calgary, but it got cooler once we reached the national parks. The views at each stop were breathtaking, and it was amazing to witness the changes in nature. The guide also pointed out great photo spots, and my family and I were able to capture many beautiful pictures and memories. The guide even recommended some good restaurants, which we really enjoyed.

I’ve always heard that this hotel is very famous, so we made the reservation quite early. The price is much higher than regular hotels, but we wanted to stay for one night to experience it. This tour perfectly fit our needs, and Lake Louise is truly beautiful. Moraine Lake is stunning as well. This trip was definitely worth it.

We had a great time. Thank you!

06-Aug-2024

The hotels were well chosen, and the duration of each stop was just right. The vehicles they used each day were different, and we had different guides, but we really liked this variety. Each guide had their own unique style—some were funny and humorous, while others were very knowledgeable. My mom and I really enjoyed this tour, and we had a great time.
